De Nederlandse vertaling van de termen in de teltekening staat onderaan het patroon in dezelfde verticale volgorde als de op de teltekening staan. Dit is standaard op alle oudere patronen, tot we ze veranderen (we moeten ze handmatig aanpassen). Ik zal het op dit patroon ook doen.

Hi Annette. You have 155 sts, and 1 st in each side is edge st not included in patter. So you have 153 sts to work in pattern, you work the chart 19 times and then first st in chart again, to make both sides symmetrical.

I don't understand "with 1 edge st not knit in pattern on each side." Can you please explain what this means? Nothing I've tried makes the 155 stitches work out with the 8-stitch pattern repeat. Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rows on larger needles in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm (4" x 4") Pattern: See chart. One chart equals one repeat of the pattern. The pattern is seen from the right side. Seed stitch (on an even number of sts): All rows: *knit 1, purl 1* Seed stitch (on an odd number of sts): All rows: K 1, *P 1, K 1* Seed stitch (worked in the round): Row 1: * knit 1, purl 1 * Row 2: * knit the purl sts from the previous row and purl the knit sts from the previous row * Cardigan: Cast on 123-139-155 (171-187-195) sts on smaller circular needles and knit seed stitch for 2 cm [0.75"]. Change to larger circular needles and knit in Pattern with 1 edge st not knit in pattern on each side. When the work measures 20-21-24 (28-29-31) cm [7-⅞" - 8.25" - 9.5" (11" - 11-⅜" - 12.25")], divide as follows: 31-35-39 (43-47-50) sts for the front, 61-69-77 (85-93-95) sts for the back, 31-35-39 (43-47-50) sts for the front. Back: 61-69-77 (85-93-95) sts. Continue in pattern until the work measures 28-30-34 (39-43-46) cm [11" - 11.75" - 13-⅜" (15-⅜" - 16-⅞" - 18-⅛")], then bind off the center 13-17-19 (21-27-27) sts for the neck. Bind off for sleeve caps on each side every other row: 3-3-4 (4-5-6) sts 4 times. Bind off all sts. The work measures approx. 15-18-20 (21-25-29) cm [5-⅞" - 7" - 7-⅞" (8.25" - 9-⅞" - 11-⅜")]. Assembly: Sew shoulder seams. Pick up approx. 65-70-78 (90-98-105) sts along the left front on smaller needles and knit seed stitch for 2 cm [0.75"]. Bind off. Repeat along the right front, but after 1 cm [3/8"] make 5-5-5 (6-6-6) buttonholes evenly distributed on the row. (1 buttonhole = bind off 2 sts and cast on 2 new sts over the bound-off sts on the next row.) Pick up approx. 80-100 sts around the neck on smaller needles and knit seed stitch for 1.5 cm [5/8"]. Bind off. Sew on the sleeves and buttons. HAT Circumference of the hat: 43-45-45 (48-48-50) cm [16-⅞" -17.75" -17.75" (18-⅞" -18-⅞" -19.75")]. DROPS 3 mm/US 2 double pointed needles, or sizes needed to obtain correct gauge. Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rows in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm (4" x 4") Garter Stitch, when knitting flat: Knit all sts all rows. Garter Stitch, when knitting in the round: *Rnd 1, knit. Rnd 2, purl *. Repeat from * - *. Hat: Cast on 102-108-108 (114-114-120) sts. Join, being careful not to twist the sts. Place a marker at the join and knit seed stitch until the work measures 6-7-7 (8-8-9) cm [2-⅜" - 2.75" - 2.75" (3-⅛" - 3-⅛" - 3.5")]. Change to stockinette st and work even until the work measures 8-9-10 (11-12-13) cm [3-⅛" - 3.5" - 4" (4-⅜" - 4.75" - 5-⅛")]. Place 6 markers evenly distributed on the 1st row (17-18-18 (19-19-20) sts between the markers). Knit 2 sts together on the right side of each marker: Size 1/3 months: every row. Sizes 6/9 months + 12/18 months: alternately every and every other row. Sizes 2 years - 3/4 years - 5/6 years: every other row. Repeat this decreasing until 6 sts remain on the needles. Knit 6 rows over these 6 sts, pull a strand through the sts and sew it in. SOCKS See pattern under Model No. 10. |
