Buon lavoro!

I'm confused about how the cable works into the short row pattern. If I'm reading the cable chart correctly - I'll use the cable needle starting on the 5th row (5th overall row of pattern, not including the short rows?). After that it would be every 13 rows? With the short rows, do I use the cable when working back on the wrong side as well, or just the right side?
12.11.2015 - 04:50DROPS Design answered:
Dear Veronica, first cable in A.1/A.2 is worked on the 5th row, then repeat crossing sts every 14th row (= 13 rows without cable between each cable) cables will always be done from RS - follow each diagram even when working short rows, ie cables in A.1 and A.2 will not be done at the same time since you won't work them upwards at the same time. Happy knitting!

What it means : (i.e 8 rows at the widest and 2 rows at the most narrow in 1 repetition)
18.10.2015 - 11:30DROPS Design answered:
Dear Tintin, when you work the short rows 1 time in height, you will work 8 rows on the widest (the first sts on the right side seen from RS), and only 2 rows on the most narrow (= on the left side seen from RS). Happy knitting!

Bon tricot!
