Ich glaube im Untertitel hat sich ein kleiner Fehler eingeschlichen. Da sollte es wohl eher "Im Patentmuster gestricktes..." statt "Im Perlmuster gestricktes..." heissen, oder?

What is one garter stitch, is it just a knit stitch. Also, is English rib the same as fishermans rib?
03.01.2021 - 18:48DROPS Design answered:
Hi Posh, Yes garter stitch is knitted on all rows. English rib involves yarn overs, whereas Fisherman's rib does not. The method for English rib is described at the top of the pattern. Happy knitting!

I would like to make the headband wider. Can you tell me how?
20.11.2020 - 23:13DROPS Design answered:
Dear Nina, the English Rib pattern is made up of 3 stitches. To make it wider, you have to work more repetitions of the English Rib pattern, so you have to cast on groups of 3 stitches until you reach the desired width. Happy knitting!

Yesterday I left a silly question. This was because I didn't read the pattern properly and I thought I had to cast off until 2 stitches remained when the pattern said until the last 2 stitches in the row Please ignore my question and thanks again for the pattern.

Have knitted the headband but can't understand why I decrease to 2 stitches when I have cast o 16 and you can speaking about grafting. There's no picture of the back of the headband so I am not sure how to finish my work. Have not used this stitch before but I am very pleased with the result. Thank you for the pattern and your help
30.01.2020 - 00:40DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Burniston, to avoid the cast on edge being too tight you cast on more stitches and decrease on first row, then repeat row 2 and 3 in English rib. At the very end, you can sew cast on edge and cast off edge together like this. Happy knitting!

What do you mean at the beginning of each row 1 garter stitch
19.11.2019 - 19:18DROPS Design answered:
Dear Nancy, while knitting this piece you have to knit the first (and the last ) stitch in every row as a KNIT stitch (thus it will be knitted from both side - aa garter stitch). I hope this helps. Happy Knitting!
