Can this project be done on circular needles? I can then avoid grafting. Thank You!

DROPS Design 13.11.2018 kl. 08:53:

Dear Mrs Farthing, this headband cannot be worked in the round since you will need to sew cast on edge and cast off edges together. Happy knitting!

Paly 17.04.2018 - 13:11:

Thanks frthe blog

Alannah Murphy 06.12.2017 - 05:25:

As a beginner knitter I found the instructions for the ribbing a little difficult to interpret. So to make it easier on myself, couldn't I also get a similar effect by knitting one then purling one for every row? The videos were also difficult and too quick to understand, especially since they have no sound/ commentary.

DROPS Design 06.12.2017 kl. 09:44:

Dear Mrs Murphy, our videos have no sound since our customers from all other the world can watch them and every one couldn't understrand English. Work 1st row as explained with dec (K2 tog, YO, slip 1 as if to K) with K1 on each side. Row 2: K1, *YO, slip 1 as if to K, K tog YO and slipped st*, K1. Row 3: K1, *K tog yo and slipped st, YO, slip 1 as if to K*, K1. Repeat these 2 rows (row 2 and 3). It may take some rows before you can see how it will look. Happy knitting!

Idalia 14.02.2016 - 20:08:

Donna 08.12.2015 - 02:50:

What does it mean by graft headband yog mid back?

DROPS Design 08.12.2015 kl. 09:04:

Dear Donna, sew together cast on edge with cast off edge. Happy knitting!

Berit 26.03.2015 - 17:33:

DROPS Design 29.03.2015 kl. 16:40:

Hei Elin. Rille = ret paa alle pinne, dvs, du strikker denne maske r paa alle pinne.

Sharon 04.04.2014 - 14:44:

Love the pattern. What does garter st at beginning and end of row mean?

DROPS Design 04.04.2014 kl. 14:49:

Dear Sharon, you will K the first st + the last st every row (= 1 edge st in garter st each side), as shown in the video below. Happy knitting!

Ghis 12.02.2012 - 11:16:
