Hi! I crochet this blanket. But please check the information for the white yarn. 350 g is definetely not enough! I ran out of yarn 4 squares left and not crocheted together. Think i will need 100 g more. Regards Manuela

Reply to answer of previous question on Assembly (correction). Too late. As written, instructions for assembly appear to imply crocheting together vertical columns of squares first so that's what I did. Now if crochet those columns together, there is only 1 diagonal of stitches in the juncture of 4 squares and not an X. Is a Xmas gift that must be mailed so no time now to rip out and redo.

Dear Mrs Mackk, you will find a picture showing how to crochet squares together - following the "blue" line first (= vertically), then the red one (= horizontally), you will get a cross between 4 squares as on the chart. Hope it will help. Happy crocheting!

Reply to question answered on Assembly: Too late. As written, the instructions appear to say crochet the squares horizontally first (rows of 5), and then the columns of crocheted squares (columns of 6) so that is what I already started doing.

You do realize when you crochet the rows together, you do not wind up with criss-cross (X) stitches in the juncture of 4 squares like the illustration in the M2 assembly diagram?
07.12.2014 - 20:53DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Mackk, you should have a (X) at the junction of 4 squares, working as in the video below, ie read chart M.2 starting horizontal "seam" on the right and crochet together squares from right to left - vertical "seam" start on the top right. Happy crocheting!

I know the pattern does not call for using the turning method (turn work after each round) but has it be done turning after each round? Should it? Larger squares such as this show a "lean" in the direction worked when not using the turning method.
08.11.2014 - 02:05DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Mackk, you can work in the round every round from RS as in pattern or work in the round alternately from RS and from WS to get a reversible effect, you can choose the way you rather like. Happy crocheting!

I can't see how many balls of wool are required for this pattern, please would you advise, thanks.
29.08.2014 - 17:40DROPS Design answered:
Dear Bee, you will find total amount of yarn requested on the right side of the picture under tab "Materials", ie you need 350 g Karisma 01 / 50 g a ball Karisma = 7 balls colour 01 (+ 3 balls each colour 30, 37 and 43). Happy crocheting!
