Round 7 says I should have 108 tr (I do) and after completing row 8 I should have 144 tr but I have 180 tr. I've counted every other row and it matches with the pattern but now I'm stuck. Can you help point me in the right direction? Thank you.
11.01.2016 - 17:24DROPS Design answered:
Dear Amazing, on round 7 you have 36 3-tr-groups + 36 ch-spaces (=108tr); on round 8 you crochet 1 tr over each tr (= 36 x 3 = 108 tr) + 1 tr over each ch-space (= 36 tr) = 108+36=144 tr. Happy crocheting!

I'd like to make pattern 99-3 (moonlight mist), but can't figure out the gauge information. I fear I've missed something. There is no mention of what stitch to use or how many stitches to put in the circle, or if the circle should be closed or have a hole in the center. Can you help me with some more thorough gauge instructions?
11.01.2016 - 07:24DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Boynton, you will find gauge at the beg of the pattern: 3 rows in the circle using hook size 6 mm [J/10] and 2 strands Alpaca should measure 6.5 cm [2 5/8”]. After 5th round the circle should measure 20 cm [8’’] in diameter. Happy crocheting!

Hi, I am making the Moonlight Mist jacket in the XL size. I am on round 14 and starting the sleeve hole. Up until now the circle stitches are stopping and starting at the same point in a circle. When I make the arm holes, the rows do not line up anymore. Is there something more I should be doing in that row to make the rows line up? Do I finish that row within the first 4 ch of the 34 ch I created when I started the armhole? Confused!
04.01.2016 - 02:34DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Longo, each round starts with 4 ch to replace the first 3 ch, so that you will start round 14 with 4ch then crochet the first 34 ch for the armhole. Happy crocheting!

Beste Carla.
