Hej Yvonne, hækler du i DROPS Paris eller Bomull-Lin og har 18 stolpar på 10 cm, så vil den forme sig som på billedet. Det lyder til at du eventuelt hækler lidt for løst... ?

Mijn hoed blijft plat.

What do you mean by 1 double crochet around chain stitch? I looked everywhere on Google and couldn't find an explanation or a video tutorial. Thank you.
22.05.2024 - 05:45DROPS Design answered:
Dear Anna, this means you will insert the crochet hook under the chain stitch and not in the chain stitch itself; in this video we show how to crochet in and around a stitch, this might help you. Happy crocheting!

------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- CROCHET INFORMATION: At the beginning of each round of double crochets work 3 chain stitches, which replace the first double crochet (skip the first stitch from the previous round). The round finishes with 1 slip stitch in the third chain stitch at the beginning of the round. At the beginning of each round of A.1, work 3 chain stitches, which do not replace the first double crochet, are worked in addition. The round finishes with 1 slip stitch in the third chain stitch at the beginning of the round. PATTERN: See diagram A.1 (lace pattern). A.2 = brim. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- HAT – SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: The piece is worked in the round, top down. The hat is worked first, then the brim. Steel wire is worked into the edge of the brim, to keep it in shape. HAT: Work 4 chain stitches with hook size 3.5 MM = US E/4 and form them into a ring with 1 slip stitch in the first chain stitch. Read CROCHET INFORMATION. ROUND 1: Work 12 double crochets around the ring. ROUND 2: Work 2 double crochets in each double crochet = 24 double crochets. ROUND 3: * 1 double crochet in first/next double crochet, 2 double crochets in next double crochet *, work from *-* to end of round = 36 double crochets. ROUND 4: * 1 double crochet in each of the first/next 2 double crochets, 2 double crochets in next double crochet *, work from *-* to end of round = 48 double crochets. ROUND 5: * 1 double crochet in each of the first/next 3 double crochets, 2 double crochets in next double crochet *, work from *-* to end of round = 60 double crochets. ROUND 6: * 1 double crochet in each of the first/next 4 double crochets, 2 double crochets in next double crochet *, work from *-* to end of round = 72 double crochets. ROUND 7: * 1 double crochet in each of the first/next 5 double crochets, 2 double crochets in next double crochet *, work from *-* to end of round = 84 double crochets. SIZE S/M: ROUND 8: * 1 double crochet in each of the first/next 13 double crochets, 2 double crochets in next double crochet *, work from *-* to end of round = 90 double crochets. Continue with 1 double crochet in each double crochet until the hat measures 10 cm = 4" from the middle down. SIZE L/XL: ROUND 8: * 1 double crochet in each of the first/next 6 double crochets, 2 double crochets in next double crochet *, work from *-* to end of round = 96 double crochets. Continue with 1 double crochet in each double crochet until the hat measures 11 cm = 4⅜" from the middle down. ALL SIZES: Work A.1, 30-32 times on the round. Continue this pattern. AT THE SAME TIME, on the last round in A.1 increase 3 double crochets evenly spaced in size L/XL (do not increase in size S/M) = 90-99 double crochets. When A.1 is finished, the hat measures 18-19 cm = 7"-7½" from the middle down. If the hat measures less than this, continue with 1 double crochet in each double crochet to correct length. BRIM: Work A.2, 10-11 times on the round. Work according to the diagram (remember the first double crochet on the round is replaced by 3 chain stitches). When A.2 is finished, there are 200-220 double crochets. Lay a thin steel wire along the edge of the brim. Work 1 chain stitch, then 1 single crochet in each double crochet, all of which are worked around the wire. Finish with 1 slip stitch in the chain stitch at the beginning of the round. Cut and fasten the strand. Twist the wire-ends together and hide them in the stitches. The hat measures approx. 27-28 cm = 10⅝"-11" from the middle down. |
