Me again, I'm also starting the pattern over with navy at this point (as described in previous questions below.) I've knitted several items from your patterns, however, I feel, your knitters take too much for granted and not enough details in your instructions. In this pattern for example, it didn't mention that the back was longer than the front and it's not always easy to see on the picture(s). Thanks again for your assistance.

After binding off the six stiches for the front opening, it states "knit the rest back and forth on the needle." Where does this start? Right after binding off the 6 stiches or at the side? Please explain. thank you very much!

Lillan, they should match. The back piece is longer than the front piece with a split in each side. On back your last 14 rows are 4 rows navy, 2 rows natural, 8 rows lavender. On front you last 14 rows are the first 14 rows in pattern 1, and these are the same as on back i.e 4 rows navy, 2 rows natural, 8 rows lavender. After joining you continue pattern 1 which continues with 3 rounds lavender, 3 rounds natural, 3 rows mustard and so on.

After knitting the back piece to the joining and then starting on the front piece, the two patterns (front and back) DO NOT match! Is this correct? Thank you.

Hi Lillan. The color number is always correct, while the name of the color may change over the years and depending on who's the translator. Paris 30 is a denim blue with a hint of purple...

The yarn colors on this pattern states: #30 lavender; however, under the Drops Paris #30 shows a "denim blue"! Where is the lavender? Thanks for your reply
