Bon crochet!

I don't understand the instructions above. Am I supposed to chain 48 and then cut off the yarn?? Thank you for your response.
16.03.2018 - 20:14DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Kajal, that's right, after having crochet the number of chains for your size cut the yarn and crochet left shoulder: same number of chains as for right shoulder, then 1st row over these chains, A.5 (= neck) and crochet now over the chain for right shoulder. Happy crocheting!

Thank you very much for your prompt answer about the shawl collar. Your designs and yarn are beautiful. I am so glad to have found you on the web. I am going to show your products to the local yarn store so maybe I can purchase your yarn locally.

Re Pattern z-770 How high does the collar go on the back of the neck? It would be helpful to have a second back or side view with the model's hair up. Thanks

Dear Mrs Golob, this video shows a simple shawl collar (knitted but the idea is the same), the shawl collar before front piece will go from the middle of neckline on back piece to the top of shoulder. Happy crocheting!

Bon crochet!
