LM. Prikker streger og en streg. Men et smukt sjal.
20.06.2022 - 23:53DROPS Design answered:

Buon lavoro!

Hi there this pattern is really beautiful but I have some problems with this pattern. 1:what does that mean pattern said in the beginning ‘from the middle and out to the sides’ 2: row5,row7,row9 are different with pattern. dc is not going to be matched. I’m glad if you answer me thank you ☺️
25.09.2020 - 07:31DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Prterson, 1) you will crochet the 2nd part of the stole crocheting in the fundation chain of the first part, that way both ends of the stole will be the same. 2) all the rows described in the written pattern can be found in the chart (you work 2 rows with dc before starting the lace pattern). read more about crochet diagrams here. Happy crocheting!

Bon crochet!

Crochet DROPS shawl with dc and lace pattern in ”BabyAlpaca Silk”.
DROPS 154-38 |
||||||||||||||||||||||
CROCHET INFO: At beg of a new row replace 1 dc with 3 ch and 1 dtr with 5 ch. PATTERN: See diagrams A.1-A.4. The diagrams show all rows in pattern seen from RS. ---------------------------------------------------------- SHAWL: Work shawl in two parts, from the middle and out to the sides. Crochet 84 loose ch on hook size 4 mm / G/6 with BabyAlpaca Silk. ROW 1: Work 1 dc in 4th ch from hook (= 2 dc), then work 1 dc in the next ch 3, * skip ch 1, 1 dc in each of the next 6 ch *, repeat from *-* 11 times in total = 71 dc (= 1st row in A.1, A.2 and A.3). ROW 2: Work 1 dc in every dc – READ CROCHET TIP! (= 2nd row in diagram). ROW 3: Continue to work as follows: 1 dc in each of the first 2 dc, PATTERN according to diagram A.1, A.2 2 times in total, A.3, and finish with 1 dc in each of the next 2 dc (= 3rd row in diagram). REMEMBER THE CROCHET GAUGE! Continue like this with pattern and 2 dc in each side, AT THE SAME TIME on 11th row work 3 dtr in each side instead of dc. When diagram A.1, A.2 and A.3 have been worked 1 time vertically, continue with pattern the same way but now work A.4 and 2 dc in each side (remember dtr in each side on 7th row in A.4). When 8 repetitions of A.4 have been worked in total and piece measures approx. 74 cm / 29", the piece is done. Fasten off. Pick up 1 dc though one loop in ch on cast-on edge as follows: 3 ch in first ch (= 1 dc), 1 dc in each of the next ch 4, * skip ch 1, 1 dc in each of the next 6 ch *, repeat from *-* 11 times in total = 71 dc. On next row work from 2nd row in diagram (= WS). Continue the same way as on first part worked with pattern and 2 dc in each side of shawl. When 8 repetitions of A.4 have been worked vertically, the shawl is done. Fasten off. |
