26.09.2013 - 22:00DROPS Design answered:
Hej Tiril. De masker findes slet ikke. Du strikker altsaa kun 3 r. Först i pind 3 faar du 1 maske mere ved kastet du laver midt i kablet.

I'm following the Brit English pattern and have a question regarding the first time you knit the cables (A1 section, the ones with YO). They don't follow the same front/behind pattern as the same cables in section A2, and looking at the picture it seems they should. Maybe the diagram directions for these YO cables are wrong? Or maybe I'm the one who is wrong ;-)

Dear Kariñe, you were correct, symbols and text are now matching, thank you ! Happy knitting!

PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.3. The diagrams show all rows in pattern seen from RS. KNITTING TIP: Inc 1 st by making 1 YO. On next row K YO twisted (i.e work in back loop instead of front loop) to avoid holes. ---------------------------------------------------------- HAT: Worked in the round on circular needle, switch to double pointed needles when needed. Cast on 110 sts with Lima on circular needle size 4 mm / US 6. Work pattern A.1 - see PATTERN above, over all sts (= 5 times in the round) - see KNITTING TIP above - 1 time in total vertically = 125 sts on needle. Then work diagram A.2 over all sts (= 5 times in the round) 8 times in total vertically until piece measures approx. 17 cm / 6¾". Then dec as follows: Work diagram A.3 one time vertically over all sts = 40 sts remain on needle. Then work as follows: ROUND 1: Work * P 1, P 2 tog, K 1, P 1, P 2 tog, K 1 *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 30 sts. ROUND 2: K over K and P over P. ROUND 3: Work * P 2 tog, K 1, P 2 tog, K 1 *, repeat from *-* the entire round = 20 sts. ROUND 4: K over K and P over P. ROUND 5: K 2 tog around = 10 sts. Pull yarn through the last sts and tighten tog. Hat measures approx. 24 cm / 9½". Fasten yarn tightly. |
