DROPS 149-24 |
|
CROCHET SC TOG: Crochet 2 sc tog into 1 sc as follows: Insert hook in first st, pull yarn through, insert hook in next st, pull yarn through, make a YO and pull yarn through all 3 sts on hook. ---------------------------------------------------------- SLIPPER: Worked back and forth, top down. Chain 22-26-26 loosely on hook size 8 mm / L/11 with 2 strands Puddel. Work 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, then work 1 sc in every ch the entire row = 21-25-25 sc. Continue back and forth with 1 sc in every sc - NOTE: Work 1 ch at beg of every row before working 1 sc in every sc, this ch does NOT replace first sc. It is for turning and is in addition to no of sts. When piece measures approx. 13 cm / 5'', switch to 2 strands Big Fabel or 4 strands Fabel. Continue as before with sc. When piece measures 17-17-18 cm / 6 3/4"-6 3/4"-7", work as follows: ROW 1: Work 2 sc in first sc, 1 sc in each of the next 8-10-10 sc, 2 sc in next sc, ch 1, skip next sc, 2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in each of the next 8-10-10 sc and 2 sc in last sc, turn piece. ROW 2: Work 1 sc in each of the first 12-14-14 sc, 7 dc around ch and 1 sc in each of the last 12-14-14 sc = 31-35-35 sts, turn piece. ROW 3: Work 2 sc in first st, 1 sc in each of the next 13-15-15 sts, 2 sc in next st, ch 1, skip the next st, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in each of the next 13-15-15 sts and 2 sc in last st, turn piece. ROW 4: Work 1 sc in each of the first 17-19-19 sc, 7 dc around ch and 1 sc in each of the last 17-19-19 sc = 41-45-45 sts, turn piece. ROW 5: Work 2 sc in first st, 1 sc in each of the next 18-20-20 sts, 2 sc in next st, ch 1, skip the next st, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in each of the next 18-20-20 sts and 2 sc in last st, turn piece. ROW 6: Work 1 sc in each of the first 22-24-24 sc, 7 dc around ch and 1 sc in each of the last 22-24-24 sc = 51-55-55 sts, turn piece. Finish inc for SIZE 5/6½ - 7½/9 (EU 35/37 and 38/40) here. SIZE 9½/10½ (EU 41/43): ROW 7: Work 1 sc in each of the next 27 sts, ch 1, skip next st and work 1 sc in each of the next 27 sts, turn piece. ROW 8: Work 1 sc in each of the first 27 sc, 7 dc around ch and 1 sc in each of the last 27 sc = 61 sts, turn piece. ALL SIZES: After last inc there are 51-55-61 sts on row. Continue back and forth with 1 sc in every st until 1 row remains before piece measures 27-28-29 cm / 10½"-11"-11½" (measure straight down along one side of slipper from the straight edge at the top of leg). On next row work the first 2 and the last 2 sc on row tog into 1 sc – SEE EXPLANATION ABOVE (work the other sc as before) = 49-53-59 sc. Fasten off. ASSEMBLY: Start under the foot at the front of toe. Sew tog edge to edge in front loop of outermost st to avoid a chunky seam. Sew tog mid under foot, up along the heel mid back and to the top of the slipper. Fasten off. Crochet another slipper. |
