Hi I'm just learning to crochet and so confused with this pattern. Im working on the hat but how does it go from the beginning of the hat is small to large im so confused please help me. Thank you
09.11.2014 - 18:08DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Perez, this hat is worked top down, ie you start with fewer sts at the beg on top of hat, then inc evenly as explained in the pattern to get the correct size (around the head). You will find videos showing related techniques used in that pattern under the tab "video" on the right side of the picture. Happy crocheting!

The pattern drops Nepal, how do u do round 11(hat). What does it mean when u say inc 0-6-6dc evenly =60-66-66dc. Thank you.
30.10.2014 - 01:36DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Cogrove, in the first size, work round 11 without inc (= 1 st in each st around), in the 2 larger size, inc 6 sts evenly in the round (= 1 dc in each of the first 9 dc, 2 dc in next dc). In the first size, you will get 60 sts and in the 2 larger size 66 sts. Happy crocheting!

Przerabia Pani 20 cm kolorem różowym i dorabia 2 rzędy szarym. Pozdrawiam

Fasten off. POMPOM: Make 1 pompom with gray with an approx. diameter of 8 cm / 3". Fasten it to the top of the hat. NECK WARMER: Worked in the round on hook size 6 mm / J/10 with Nepal. Work next round as follows: ch 1, * skip 2 sc, 6 dc in next sc, skip 2 sc, 1 sc in next sc *, repeat from *-* the entire round and finish with 1 sl st in first ch. Fasten off. |
