Bonjour !
Bon tricot!

Hello Drops: At the same time when the piece measures 7 cm [2 3/4’’] bind off 1 st each side on every 8-10-10-12-12-12 cm [3 1/8”-4”-4”-4 ¾”-4 ¾”-4 ¾”] a total of 4-3-3-3-3-3 times = 78-86-92-101-112-122 sts. Am making the largest size sm not sure I understand the decreases. Do I knit 7 cm and then knit a further 12 cm before I begin the decreases. This is how I interpret the instruction but am not sure am understanding it correctly. Thanks. Sharon
30.09.2023 - 14:29DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Hunt, the 7 cm are measured from cast on edge, this means you strt decreasing 1 cm after ribbing edge: 7 cm, then work 12 more cm = 19 cm for 2nd decrease and work 12 more cm = 31 cm for 3rd decrease . Happy knitting!

Hello Drops Wondering if I could add one inch of sts to get my size of 52? 55 would be way too large.
22.09.2023 - 11:53DROPS Design answered:
Hi Sharo! Make sure you check your knitting tension, also look at the measurements chart at the end of the pattern, which is given in cm. Feel free to make as many adjustments as needed! Happy knitting!

Si usano ferri diritti?
13.09.2017 - 23:10DROPS Design answered:
Buongiorno Maria. Buon lavoro!

I would like to knit this pattern for a friend, but without the turtleneck.. just a neck rib border.. I am going to knit it with drops merino cotton 52%wool 48%cotton ....please advise me how to do this.
22.11.2014 - 16:23DROPS Design answered:
Dear Carroll, what about working as in pattern but with less ribbing to get a smaller neck edge ? You can also get inspiration from other pattern with this tension and the neck as you like it. Remember you can also get any individual assistance from your DROPS store. Happy knitting!
