How to work after chart A.1 in DROPS 220-16

In this DROPS video we show how to work after chart A.1 to the «Strawberry Mousse» jumper in DROPS 220-16. We have already worked row 1 to 4 and start the video showing row 5 to 7, then we show row 21 to 27, but we do not show the hole row from WS`s. We knit the first and last stitch, both from RS and WS (garter stitch). This jumper is worked in DROPS Air but in the video, we use a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. How to work chart A.3, A.5 and A.6 in DROPS 223-17

In this DROPS video we show how to work after chart A.3 (worked 2 times), A.5 and A.6 to the “Free Motion” jumper in DROPS 223-17. We have already worked the charts 2 times in height and show in the video round 1-2-3-5-7-9 and 11. This jumper is worked in DROPS Snow, the same yarn we use in the video. How to work after chart A.2 in DROPS 222-32 and DROPS 223-2 – Part 1

In this DROPS video we show to work round 1-9 after chart A.2 to the «Swing by Spring Top» jumper in DROPS 222-32 and «Swing by Spring» dress in DROPS 223-2. We have already worked the neck edge and chart A.1, we use less stitches than it says in the pattern and we show the beginning of the rounds. Jumper and dress are worked in DROPS Belle, but in the video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. You must read the pattern and look at the chart to be able to follow this video properly. How to work after chart A.2 in DROPS 222-32 and DROPS 223-2 – Part 2

In this DROPS video we show to work round 10-28 after chart A.2 to the «Swing by Spring Top» jumper in DROPS 222-32 and «Swing by Spring» dress in DROPS 223-2. We have already worked the neck edge, chart A.1 and round 1-9. We show the beginning of the rounds, but we do not show round 11-20. We use less stitches than it says in the pattern. How to work the jacket in DROPS 248-5 – Part 2

In this DROPS video we show a bit of how the Sand Diamond Cardigan is worked. We use the stitch numbers for size M. We have already worked the bands with an I-cord edge, worked 24 rows of chart A.1 and worked charts A.2, A.3 and A.4 two times in height (see video Part 1). When A.2, A.3 and A.4 have been worked two time in height, you will work 2 more repeat of A.3 between A.2 and A.4 (= 4 reports of A.3). When A.1 has been worked 1 time in height, the increases towards mid-front are finished, and except size S, continue increasing for raglan in each transition between body and sleeves. Read under the PATTERN and under the size you knit how to work the next row (we use stitch markers between the charts to get a better overview). Remember BUTTONHOLES. When A.2, A.3 and A.4 have been worked 1 more time in height, all the increases are finished and there are now 317 stitches on the needle and the work measures approx. 27 cm from the shoulder (size M). This jacket is worked in DROPS Daisy, but in the video, we use DROPS Cotton Merino color no. 30. You must read the pattern and look at the charts to be able to follow this video properly. How to work the jacket in DROPS 248-5 – Part 3

In this DROPS video we show a bit of how the Sand Diamond Cardigan is worked. We use the stitch numbers for size M. We have already worked the bands with an I-cord edge, some of chart A.1, A.2, A.3 and A.4 (see video Part 1) and worked YOKE until the part divide for body and sleeves. (see video Part 2). We start the video by working the row where we divide the bodies and sleeves (from right side). Read under DIVIDE FOR BODY AND SLEEVES – ALL SIZES in the pattern. In size M there should then be 235 stitches for the body and 56 stitches for each sleeve. Then it is working from wrong side and work 2nd row in the charts as follows: Work 7 band stitches as before, A.6, A.3 until there are 12 stitches left, A.5 and 7 band stitches as before. * Work 7 band stitches as before, A.5, A.3 until there are 13 stitches left, A.6 and 7 band stitches as before. Work the diagrams 1 time in height. Continue with 7 band stitches as before, A.7, A.3 until there are 18 stitches left, A.8 and 7 band stitches as before. Work the diagrams 1 time in height *. Work from *-* until the body have the specified length (18 cm in size M), finishing after a complete repeat of A.3 in height. Remember the buttonholes. Then change the needle, work a rib, increase stitches and work the 7 band stitches on each side are worked as before, read more in the pattern. This jacket is worked in DROPS Daisy, but in the video, we use DROPS Cotton Merino color no. 30. You must read the pattern and look at the charts to be able to follow this video properly. How to work the jacket in DROPS 248-5 – Part 4

In this DROPS video we show a bit of how the sleeve to the Sand Diamond Cardigan is worked. We also show how to sew the front band stitches to along the neckline. We use the stitch numbers for size M. Read in the pattern how many stitches to knit up under the sleeve, where and how often to decreases, change needle size and the length of the rib. Sew in the buttons. Sew the bands together mid-back, then sew the bands to the neckline, stretching the bands a little to sew it on. This jacket is worked in DROPS Daisy, but in the video, we use DROPS Cotton Merino color no. 30. You’ll find the pattern by clicking on the picture below. How to knit the lace pattern in DROPS 139-3 and 139-4

In this DROPS video we show how to knit the lace pattern used in DROPS 139-3 and DROPS 139-4. We have already knitted one repeat of the chart in height. We start next repeat on a RS row at the bottom right corner on chart. We knit 1st row in chart from right to left. Next row from WS we follow the chart from left to right. The outer 2 sts each side and the one stitch in the middle are K on every row, as shown in chart. You must read the pattern and look at the chart to be able to follow. How to knit short rows and pattern in DROPS 154-8

In this DROPS video we show how you knit the short rows and pattern on the Summer Snug circle jacket in DROPS 154-8. In the video we casted on for size S/M (86 st) and already knitted 1 ridge in garter st. Then we knit the pattern as follows: (1st row = from RS): 5 sts in garter st, K 2, P 3, (turn here), K 2, A.1 (= 23 sts) (turn here), K 1, A.2A, A.2 B over the next 8-14-20 sts, A.2 C, K 2, (turn here), A.1(= 23 sts), K 2, P 3, K 2, 5 sts in garter st. At the same time the short rows are knitted as described: * Work 1 row over the first 10 sts on row, turn and work back. Work 1 row over the first 35 sts on row, turn and work back. Work 1 row over the first 51-57-63 sts on row, turn and work back. Work 1 row over all sts, turn and work back *. Repeat from *-* When short rows are repeated 1 time there are 8 rows at the widest and 2 rows at the most narrow. This jacket is made in DROPS Paris, in the video we knit with DROPS Snow. How to increase in DROPS 155-1 and DROPS 158-17

In this DROPS video we show how to increase while knitting short rows and stripes as on the jackets in DROPS 155-1 and DROPS 158-17. Put the sts back on the right needle and at the same time knit the stripes and short rows. Note! There will come a slight transition (longer stitches) when you put the stitches back and knit them again. It is therefore important to tighten the thread every time you knit a new row and the transition will also be smaller after washing. In the video the transition is more visible because we knit with a thicker yarn than in the patterns. You must read the pattern to be able to follow. How to start knitting the right front piece in DROPS 153-13

In this DROPS Video we show how to start knitting the right front piece on the Blue Maze jacket in DROPS 153-13. Loosely cast on 12 sts with green (DROPS Delight in DROPS 153-13) on double pointed needles Switch to white (DROPS Alpaca in DROPS 153-13) and work 1 ridge. Switch to green and work 1 ridge. Switch to white and K 1 row, turn piece clockwise and pick up 4 sts along the side of ridges. Turn piece again and pick up 12 sts on the under side of cast-on edge = 28 sts on needle. K 1 row over all sts. Insert a marker in the 13th and 16th st. Then work in garter st and stripes AT THE SAME TIME inc with 1 YO on each side of 13th and 16th st on every row from RS (=4 sts inc), K YOs to make a small hole. In this DROPS video we show you how to knit chart A.1 for the Mistral jumper in DROPS 153-22. In the video we show first the knit 1 (k1), 3 yarn over (yo) followed by the dropping of the stitches. Knit 4 rows and then we Knit 1 with 2 yarn overs. At the beginning and end of each row we add one extra yarn over to avoid a tight edge in the sides.
