How to crochet an easy lace pattern

In this DROPS video we show how to crochet an easy lace pattern for a bookmark or a head band. Row 1: Work 4 ch, in the 4th ch from hook work: 3 tr, 5 ch, 3 tr. Row 2: 3 ch, turn piece, in 3rd ch from hook work: 3 tr, 5 ch, 3 tr, then 1 sl st in ch-loop from previous row. Repeat 2nd row to the length you want. You must read the pattern to be able to follow. How to crochet an I-cord

In this DROPS video we show how to crochet an i-cord. An i-cord is a tube. Often used for the handles on a bag or cords to tie on a hat or hood. Start by ch 3. Pick up a st in 2nd and 3rd ch from hook, *lift off these 2 last sts, ch1 in rem st on hook, put 2nd st back and ch 1, put 3rd st back and ch 1*, repeat *-* until your cord has desired length, cut and pull yarn through all 3 sts to finish. If using a finer and more slippery yarn, you may be helped by putting the 2 sts on a cable needle when lifting them off hook.

How to crochet an easy cord

In this DROPS video we show how easy you can crochet a cord. Crochet up 1 loop in 3 stitches where you want the cord to start, eg in the edge of a bag. Make 1 yarn over and pull it through all 3 loops – this is like working 3 stitches together. * Make 1 yarn over, insert the hook into the first of the 3 stitches below. Pick up the strand at the front of the piece (i.e. work in the front loop of stitch) and pull the strand through = 3 loops on hook, make 1 yarn over and pull through all loops on hook *, repeat from *-* to the desire length of the cord. Instead of inserting the hook into the first of the 3 stitches below, you can also insert the hook into the middle stitch below (this is done on the other cord we show in the video). We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video. You must read the pattern to be able to follow this video properly

How to crochet a cord with 2 strands / 2 colours

In this DROPS video we show how to crochet a cord with 2 strands / 2 colours. Place the strands together, but use your left index finger to hold the threads apart (let one strand (pink) lie at the top above the finger and let the other strand (light blue) lie at the bottom under the index finger) and make sure that the strands that are to be crocheted with are in the same order along the way. Work like this: * Take the hook over and around the light blue strand (2 loops on the hook), take the hook under and around the pink strand and pull the pink strand through both loops on the hook *, work from *-* to desired length. Cut the strands leaving 10 cm (used to fasten the cord), thread the pink strand through the last loop on the hook. We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video. How to crochet a tie string

Crochet a tie string as follows: 1 dc in edge, chain as long as you want the string, turn and work 1 sl st in each ch back to edge, then 1 dc in edge. How to crochet a handle to a bag

In this DROPS video we show how you crochet the handle on the beautiful Carry All bag in DROPS 139-11, but it can also be used in other bags. Crochet in the round with dc's without ending the round with 1 sl st. Ch 5 and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. Work 1 dc in every ch = 5 dc. After last dc on 1st round, work 1 dc in next dc, then work in the round with 1 dc in every dc. This bag is made in DROPS Lin and DROPS Cotton Viscose, in the video we crochet with DROPS Snow. How to crochet a summer bracelet with flower

In this DROPS video we show how to make a super simple, but beautiful bracelet with a decorative flower. We crochet the bracelet in DROPS Snow, but we have used DROPS Belle, crochet hook size 3.5 and buttons in sizes 15 mm on the other bracelets in the video. BRACELET: Crochet 14 ch, continue with 29 ch looser, turn the piece, 1 sl st in 2nd st from hook, 1 dc in each of the next 26 sts, 1 sl st in next st, turn piece, skip 1 st and crochet 1 sl st, 1 dc in each of the next dc the entire row, finish with 1 sl st in last st. Crochet 14 ch, cut and tighten the thread (if desirable tie a knot). FLOWER: Crochet 3 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: 1 ch, work 6 dc in ch-ring and finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round. ROUND 2: 1 ch, in every dc the entire round work: 1 dc, 3 ch, in 3rd ch from hook work 1 htr and 1 tr. Finish with 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round = 6 leaves. Cut and fasten threads. Attach a button to the flower and sew the flower in bracelet. The bracelet measures 29 cm (without tie bands 14 cm) and weighs about 2 g (without button).
