How to crochet askew puff stitch

In this DROPS video we show you have to crochet askew puff stitches. Cast on an odd number of chain stitches + 2 chain stitches. In the video we have 13 + 2chain stitches. ROW 1: Insert the crochet hook into the 3rd chain stitch from hook, pick up yarn and pull it through, yarn over and insert the crochet hook into the same stich, pick up yarn and pull it through, yarn over and insert the crochet hook In the same stitch, pick up yarn and pull it through = 6 sts on hook. Yarn over and pull thread through all 6 sts, 1 chain stitch = 1st puff stitch. * Skip 1 stitch, put crochet hook into next stitch, pick up yarn and pull it through, yarn over and insert the hook into the same stitch, pick up yarn and pull it through, yarn over and insert the hook into the same stitch, pick up yarn and pull it through = 6 stitches on needle. Yarn over and pull the thread through all 6 stitches, 1 chain stitch *, repeat * - * all the row = 7 puff stitches. Turn. ROW 2: Change color, work 2 chain stitches. * Insert the crochet hook into the 1ststitch in the puff stitch from the previous row, pick up yarn and pull it through, yarn over and insert the crochet hook into the same stitch, pick up yarn and pull it through, yarn over and insert the crochet hook into same stitch, pick up yarn and pull it through = 6 stitches on crochet hook. How to crochet a granny square with color changes

In this DROPS video we show to make a basic granny square with colour changes. They are very popular and can be used on many projects. After each colour change, crochet around the old yarn end to fasten before cutting it. Crochet 6 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: 3 ch, 2 tr in ring, * 3 ch, 3 tr *, repeat from *-* a total of 3 times and finish with 3 ch and 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round. Turn piece. Change colour.
