The maths for the medium size is off. To get 149 stitches you need to chain 200. That's like 197 + 3 for the turning chain. ☺

Vriendelijke groet.

Your designs are lovely and I wanted to make a lot of them. But the instructions are generally very poor even for a skilled crocheter like myself. I've decided not to use Drops' designs anymore, because it takes too long time to figure out some of the instructions. Why don't you learn from all the commentaries?
14.07.2018 - 19:10DROPS Design answered:
Dear Charlotte, we are sorry to hear you have some troubles reading our patterns. As you may know, there are different ways to write or format crochet patterns (depending on how each people learned). Should you need any individual assistance reading our patterns and diagrams you are welcome to contact your DROPS store / the store where you bought your yarn. Happy crocheting!

Buongiorno Angela.

For the Assembly section what does 'beige-mixed uppermost' refer to? I love the finished garment as shown but have to say that the instructions are very rudimentary.
11.04.2018 - 17:09DROPS Design answered:
Dear Donna, it means that the pattern use a beige-mix colored yarn., and you should start the assembly at the uppermost corner of the piece, make "1 buttonhole loop at the top on each side on the back". I hope this helps. Happy Crafting!

Assembly: Crochet 1 buttonhole-loop with crochet hook size 3 and beige-mixed uppermost at each side at the back as follows: 1 double crochet, 2 slip sts, skip over ½ cm, 1 double crochet. Try on the top to see where the buttons should be sewn on - 1 button on the bottom side of the left back piece and 1 button on the top side of the right back piece. Crochet 3 bands of slip sts approx. 1 meter in length. Braid these together, tie a knot in each end and draw the cord through the uppermost row of holes. |
