Dear Mickey, you are working A.1 a total of 6 times in the round, in A.1 you work 2 dc around chain stitch on first round, repeat 6 times A.1 = 12 dc at the end of first round (2 dc in each of the 6 repeats). Happy crocheting!

Hi Susan, There are no written instructions for this pattern. The diagram is read from bottom right to left with treble crochets or groups of treble crochets repeated around the ring (see the symbol descriptions above the diagram). Happy crocheting!

Bon crochet!

I don't like the diagrams for crochet patterns. I have been crocheting for over 50 years. I want a written pattern. It would be appreciated if you would supply a written pattern AND a diagram for us old time crocheters!
08.03.2016 - 02:13DROPS Design answered:
Dear Diane, there is no written pattern for the diagrams here, but in diagram, 1 symbol represent 1 st or 1 group of st (see diagram text) - start reading each diagram at the bottom corner on the right side and repeat around the repetitions reading every round from the right towards the left. For any further individual assistance remember you can get help from your DROPS store. Happy crocheting!
