Hello... i have started dec and the pattern... my question is ... in the middle of pattern i do 2ch, then 2tr in one previous (=1inc), then 2ch.... next row , i do 3 ch (over my previous 2ch) then again 1 V ... does that mean 1tr in each of the ones from last row?
27.03.2018 - 07:43DROPS Design answered:
Dear Joanna, on first row ch 2, skip 1 tr, 2 tr in next st, ch 2, skip 1 tr, 1 tr in next st. On 2nd row, work tr until 1 tr remain before chain 2, then ch3, ski the ch and the 2 ch, 2 tr in the middle of both tr on previous row, ch3, skip ch2 and 1 tr and 1 tr in next tr. Happy crocheting!

Please, Can you explain the way to decrease on both sides of a same row? I have already understand how to begin decreasing but I am not sure how to end the same row. Thank you.
28.06.2017 - 22:43DROPS Design answered:
Dear Amal, to dec 4 tr (UK-English) on both sides crochet row to the end, then turn, *crochet 6 ch to turn with, skip the first 4 tr on row and crochet 1 tr in the next st (=5th tr), 1 tr to the end of row until 4 tr remain, turn*, you have dec 4 tr on each side - repeat from *-* to dec 4 more tr on each side. Happy crocheting!

Hola.
20.06.2017 - 17:49DROPS Design answered:
Hola Montse.

Dear Sara, chain 171 to start, then crochet 3 ch (= 1st tr), 1 tr in 4th ch from hook, 1 tr in next ch, *skip 1 ch, 1 tr in next 3 ch*, repeat from *-* = 129 tr. Happy crocheting!

If I used a 3.75mm instead of a 3mm, what would the chains be for a small size?

Crochet gauge: 20 dc x 11 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4" x 4"]. Pattern: See chart. Crochet the entire chart for all sizes. Crocheting tip: When dec 4 sc: at the beginning of row, ch 6, skip the first 4 dc on row and start working in 5th dc on row, work until 4 dc remain, turn. When dec 3 sc: at the beginning of row, ch , skip the first 3 dc on row and start working in 4th dc on row, work until 3 dc remain, turn. When dec 2 sc: at the beginning of row, ch 4, skip the first 2 dc on row and start working in 3rd dc on row, work until 2 dc remain, turn. Body: Chain 170-183-196-210. Row 1: 1 double crochet (dc) in the 3rd ch from the hook, 2 dc in the next 2 sts, * skip 1 ch, 3 dc in the next 3 sts *, repeat from * - *= 129-139-149-159 dc. Rows 2 through 9-10-11-12: 1 dc in each dc from the previous row -- at the same time inc 1 dc on each side every row 8-9-10-11 times = 145-157-169-181 dc. Now the work measures approx. 7-8-9-10 cm [2.75" - 3-⅛" - 3.5" - 4"]. ***Now dec on both sides on every row - see Crocheting tip - at the same time, the chart begins - see to it that the chart comes at the center of the work - over the center 55 dc. Dec on both sides as follows: 4 dc 2-3-6-8 times, 3 dc 3-7-7-7 times, 2 dc 14-9-6-5 times; from here, crochet the rest of the work according to the chart. After the chart the work measures approx. 30-31-32-34 cm. Assembly: Crochet 1 buttonhole-loop with crochet hook size 3 and beige-mixed uppermost at each side at the back as follows: 1 double crochet, 2 slip sts, skip over ½ cm, 1 double crochet. Try on the top to see where the buttons should be sewn on - 1 button on the bottom side of the left back piece and 1 button on the top side of the right back piece. Crochet 3 bands of slip sts approx. 1 meter in length. Braid these together, tie a knot in each end and draw the cord through the uppermost row of holes. |
