PICOT: Work 1 sc in next sc, ch 3, 1 sc in same sc. PATTERN: See diagram A.1. CROCHET TOG: Work the pentagons tog in 2 picots and with sl sts in the middle of these 2 picots. * Work in next sc as follows: 1 sc, ch 1, work with WS against WS 1 sl st in picot on previous pentagon, ch 1, 1 sc in same st = 1 picot with crochet tog *. Work 5 sc in next ch-space, ch 1, 1 sl st in the space between the 2 sc-groups on previous pentagon, 5 sc in next ch-space, repeat from *-* 1 more time. ---------------------------------------------------------- COLLAR: Work 9 pentagons while working them tog. PENTAGON 1: Worked in the round. Ch 5 on hook size 3.5mm/E/4 with Cotton Viscose and form a ring with 1 sl st in 1st ch. ROUND 1: ch 1, 10 sc in ch-ring, finish with 1 sl st in 1st sc. ROUND 4: ch 8 (counted as 1st dc + 5 ch), * 1 sc in next bobble, ch 5, 1 dc in next sc, 5 ch *, repeat from *-* 3 more times, finish with 1 sc in last bobble, ch 5, 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round = 5 sc, 5 dc and 10 ch-spaces. ROUND 5: ch 1, 5 sc in 1st ch-space, * in next sc work 1 PICOT - read explanation above, 5 sc in next ch-space, skip next dc, 5 sc in next ch-space *, repeat from *-* 3 more times, finish with 1 picot in last sc - NOTE! Ch 7 for strap instead of 3 ch in last picot, 5 sc in last ch-space, 1 sl st in 1st sc from beg of round = 5 picots. Fasten off. PENTAGON 2: Work ROUND 1-4 for PENTAGON 1. ROUND 5: ch 1, 5 sc in 1st ch-space, * 1 picot in next sc, 5 sc in next ch-space, skip next dc, 5 sc in next ch-space *, repeat from *-* 2 more times. In next sc work the picot tog with PENTAGON 1 - READ CROCHET TOG, finish with 5 sc in last ch-space, 1 sl st in 1st sc from beg of round = 5 picots. Fasten off. Work 7 more pentagons the same way as PENTAGON 2 - i.e. work the pentagon tog with previous pentagon in 2 picots and with sl sts in the middle, 9 pentagons in total - see chart. Sew 1 button at the top of the last pentagon. |
