Cables with decrease/increase.

In this DROPS video we show how we work chart A.2. We've already worked 4 rounds and 6 stitches of round. 5. We start the video with: = slip 3 sts on cable needle in front of piece, K 2, K 2 sts in next st, K 2 sts in first st from cable needle, K 2 from cable needle = 8 sts in cable. We show the cabels 2 times. On 6th-10th round we work the 8 sts over the cable K (speeding in the video). On 11th round, we show: = slip 4 sts on cable needle in front of piece, K 2, K 2 tog, K the first 2 from cable needle tog, work 2 sts from cable needle We show the cables 2 times (with speeding between). Chart A.3 and displacement in DROPS 166-11 and 18

In this DROPS video we show you how to work chart A.3 in DROPS 166-11 and 18, and at the same time work the displacement of the chart towards the middle. We work as follows: 2 edge st in garter st, chart A.3, K10, A.3 and 2 edge st in garter stitch. At the same time we increase by making 1 YO before the chart (right) and after the chart (left). On next row (WS) we work the YO’s twisted to avoid holes. We also decrease after the chart (right) by K2 together and before the chart (left) by working until 2 st before the chart, then slip 1 st as to K, K1, PSSO. We work chart A.3 once in height and we work the displacement in every row on RS (= 3 times). REMEMBER - you will also need to read the pattern to be able to follow. Pick up stitches between two fans in DROPS 149-42

In this DROPS video we show you how to pick up stitches between two fans for the jumper in DROPS 149-42. We pick up the stitches from the left edge of first fan (seen from RS) and pick up 1 st in every ridge in garter st and approx. 1 st in every row with eyelet holes = 22 st, and then we pick up 23 st in the same manner along the right edge of the second fan. We finish with one K row from the WS. Please note that we work with a smaller amount of stitches than stated in the pattern, so REMEMBER - you will also need to read the pattern to be able to follow. How to knit the bottom edge in DROPS 173-15

In this DROPS video we show you how to knit the bottom edge of the Tauriel Cardigan in DROPS 173-15. We knit stripes and short rows along the right front piece bottom edge, right and left back piece bottom edge and finishing off with the left front piece bottom edge. We knit one repeat of row 1-8 on each piece and hereafter jump to next piece. This cardigan is knitted in DROPS Fabel, but in the video we knit with a thicker yarn, DROPS Snow.
