Kérdéseire a DROPS honlapján kívül a Facebook-on magyar nyelven működő Magyar DROPS csoportban is segítséget kaphat.

A megemelésnél kellene segítség.

30.11.2016 - 13:18DROPS Design answered:

Runde). Viel Spaß beim stricken!

Part 2 of question:When I did the next row, I had to move the markers 7 and 8 to make sure I had the right number of stiches for each section of jumper, and revert to just 2 stiches between those markers. This felt wrong as all the other markers had stayed in the same place. Should the increases be before mark 7 and after mark 8?
28.05.2016 - 08:58DROPS Design answered:
When the elevation (short rows) is done, you work now in the round from 1st marker and work next row as stated with markers and number of sts for each piece. Happy knitting!

Part 1 of queston: I didn't ask how to cast on evenly but whether there is a mistake in the pattern instructions. By increasing stitches between markers 7 and 8 in the Raglan Elevation it meant I had 6 stiches between those 2 markers.
28.05.2016 - 08:58DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Preddy, markers are inserted for raglan, they shouldn't be moved, you inc from RS (= every other row): 1 st before 1st and 8th marker + 1 st after 2nd and 7th marker. When elevation on back piece is done, you will have 6-4 inc sts on back piece and 3-2 sts inc on each sleeve, and thre is a total of 124-168 sts (see size).

It seems important to keep 2 stitches between each section of jumper. However if I increase 1 stitch before mark 8 and after mark 7 as instructed in the Raglan short row part, I will end up with too many stitches between marks 7 and 8. Should the instructions be that I increase 1 stitch BEFORE mark 7 and AFTER mark 8?
27.05.2016 - 08:44DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Preddy, first work a round while inc evenly, then work next round inserting markers - keep markers in place when working elevation and raglan. Read here how to inc evenly. Happy knitting!

Hej!

Bon tricot!

When A.3 has been worked 1 time vertically, continue with dark grey blue Karisma / dark blue Merino Extra Fine. K 1 round. Switch to double pointed needles size 3 mm and work rib = K 1/P 2. Cast off when piece measures 54-54-53-52-51-49 cm (shorter measurements in the larger sizes because of wider shoulders). Work the other sleeve the same way. ASSEMBLY: Sew the openings under the sleeves. Fold neckband double to wrong side and stitch in place loosely. |
