How to knit a jumper top down

In this DROPS video we show how to knit a jumper top down in the round on circular needles.
We show how we increase for raglan by doing a YO 2 sts before marker and 2 sts after marker, and on next round K YO twisted to avoid a hole. We have already worked neck (rib) and start the video with the 1st round where we do the increase. We also show how we put the sleeve stitches on a thread, how we cast on new sts under arm and knit the sleeve.

Drops 223-2. Decrease tip (= 4 stitches decrease). I only seem to get 3 decreases, where is the 4th? Thanks

Dear Darline, you decrease on each side of each marker. Since you have inserted 2 markers (one under each arm), you should decrease 4 stitches (1 at each side of each of the 2 markers). Happy knitting! 08.04.2023 - 20:04

Bonjour Mme Necer, en fonction de votre tension, de la forme souhaitée et du point employé, le nombre de mailles va varier, retrouvez ici tous nos pulls femme tricotés de haut en bas, avec un échantillon de 15-12 m et là, ceux avec un échantillon de 11-9 m. Dear Valerie, we show in this video how to work sleeves from time code 09:38 approx. for the sleeve, you simply pick up 1 stitch in each of the 12 stitches cast on mid under sleeev (in the video we cast on these stitches), just as shown in the picture 18B in this lesson, then work the sleeves around - you should have now 91-95 sts (see size). Ja, dat is wel mogelijk. Je kan bijvoorbeeld na de boord verkorte toeren heen en weer breien aan de achterkant, waardoor de achterkant hoger wordt dan de voorkant. Helaas kan ik niet echt goede voorbeelden vinden, maar je kunt bij het zoeken van patronen het filter 'van boven naar beneden' toepassen en dan de modellen bekijken.

Bonjour Marie, la quantité indiquée pour chaque taille figure systématiquement dans l'en-tête du modèle (avec les tailles, la taille des aiguilles et l'échantillon dans les modèles les plus récents); divisez ce poids par le poids de la pelote (25, 50 ou 100 g en fonction de la laine) pour obtenir le nombre de pelotes nécessaire. Hei Monics. Det er mange grunner til at man kan strikke en jakke/genser ovenfra og ned, f.eks er det mye lettere å prøve plagget underveis. Er bærestykket langt nok, hvor lang vil man ha bolen og man kan prøve seg frem til hvor korte/lange ermer man vil ha. Men om man finner en jakke/genser som er skrevet ovenfra og ned og man har litt strikkeerfaring, kan man fint tenke seg til hvordan den kan strikkes nedenfra og opp istedenfor. mvh DROPS design 20.09.2021 - 11:12

Dear Dafne, let's take first size here, you will have to increase 16 times every other round, this means work as follows: *work 1 round with increases, 1 round without increase* and repeat these 2 rounds a total of 16 times ; you increase 8 stitches on every increase round as explained under RAGLAN and then you will have 216 sts after all increases are done.
