In this DROPS video we show how to knit stripes in the round without getting a jog in the transition.

Change to a new color and work 1 round. Work the first stitch on the next round like this: Pick up the stitch under the first stitch on the left needle (pick up from behind in the front loop), and put it into the left needle. Knit the stitch together with the next stitch on the left needle. In this way, the transition becomes less visible.


You can carry to other color along on the inside of the work. If the stripes are wide, you can twist the colors at the end of round on every 3 cm/ every 1 inch.

Liebe Marion, ja, die Fäden können Sie auch bei der Rückseite verdrehen - sollten die Streifen zu hoch/lang sein, dann können Sie auch den Faden abschneiden. Viel Spaß beim Stricken!

Liebe Lioba, es kann je nach dem Diagram/Muster, aber öftens kann das nicht funktionnieren, dann könnnen Sie versuchen, den Faden beim Übergang etwas fester ziehen damit die Maschen nebeneinander liegen aber auch nicht zu fest damit die Arbeit nicht zu eng wird. Viel Spaß beim Stricken!

Bonjour Maria, si vous tricotez du jersey envers, je ne connais pas de méthode, si vous tricotez du point mousse, serrer la dernière maille du tour aide. N'hésitez pas à demander à d'autres tricoteuses du monde entier via le groupe cité dans la réponse précédente, certaines ont peut être la solution que vous cherchez. Bon tricot!

In this DROPS video we show how to create an invisible join when starting your circular knitting and in this way avoid a jog in your work. Note! Cast on 1 additional stitch than what pattern tells you. Join, making sure not to twist stitches on row. Slip 1st stitch on left needle purl-wise over to right needle.
