Buonasera Francesca, può provare a lavorare i giri a diritto passando la 1° maglia di ogni giro a diritto con il filo sul davanti del lavoro e lavorare il resto del giro a diritto. Buon lavoro!

In this DROPS video we show how to knit stripes in the round without getting a jog in the transition, also called Helix knitting. In this video we use 3 colors and knit 13 stitches before changing color. Be sure to keep the colors separated and do not let the skeins cross when changing color. Every round there is one color knitted over 26 stitches. Do not tighten too much when changing color. We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video.

In this DROPS video we show how to create an invisible join when starting your circular knitting and in this way avoid a jog in your work. Note! Cast on 1 additional stitch than what pattern tells you. Join, making sure not to twist stitches on row. Slip 1st stitch on left needle purl-wise over to right needle. Slip the 2nd stitch on right needle over the 1st. Move the slipped stitch back to left needle. Tighten yarn ends. Place a marker to mark beginning of the round and start knitting. In this DROPS video we show how to knit stripes in the round without getting a jog in the transition. Change to a new color and work 1 round. Work the first stitch on the next round like this: Pick up the stitch under the first stitch on the left needle (pick up from behind in the front loop), and put it into the left needle. Knit the stitch together with the next stitch on the left needle. In this way, the transition becomes less visible. You can carry to other color along on the inside of the work. If the stripes are wide, you can twist the colors at the end of round on every 3 cm/ every 1 inch. You must read the pattern to be able to follow. Mittens - before and after felting

In this DROPS video we show a pair of mittens before and after felting. To prevent the thumb from felting together, turn the mitten to WS (wrong side) and place a narrow silk ribbon along the thumb. Secure the ribbon with a safety pin – NB: insert the pin vertically towards the tip of the thumb so it is easy to remove after felting. Turn the mitten back to RS (right side) before felting. 1. Place the mittens in the washing machine with a wool detergent that does not contain enzymes or optical brighteners. 2. Wash at 40 °C / 104 °F, normal spin, no pre-wash. 3. Stretch and shape the mittens to the correct measurements while still wet. 4. If they turn out too small: soak in water until completely wet, then stretch back to the desired size. 5. Afterwards, the mittens can be washed as any other wool garment.

How to turn 1 strand into 3 from the same ball of yarn

In this DROPS video we how to make 3 strands out of 1 single strand from a ball of yarn. 1. Make a simple loop (like the loop worked when you begin any crochet project) and pull it to approx. 2-3 cm in length. 2. Thread the strand from the skein through this loop, creating a new loop of approx. 40-50 cm. 3. Lay this loop alongside the working strand, so 1 strand becomes 3 strands. 4. Knit or crochet using these 3 strands until there is approx. 2 cm left. Repeat points 2 to 4.
