How to decrease by knitting 2 stitches together (K2tog)
This is probably the easiest way to decrease 1 stitch: knit 2 stitches together as one. In the video we first knit 2 stitches together in the front loops, the dec leans right.
Then we knit 2 stitches twisted together, i.e. we knit them together in the back loops and the dec leans to the left.
You must read the pattern to be able to follow. You’ll find patterns where you can use this technique by clicking on the pictures below.

Dear Rachel, you can cast off as follows if it seems clearer: cast off 3 stitches from the beginning of the row, then work as before until 3 stitches remain before the next marker (= side), cast off the next 6 stitches (= 3 sts from the front and 3 sts from the back), work until 3 sts remain in the round and cast off the next 3 sts. Dear Mrs Tezcanli, in this pattern, you should have 164 sts in size M and 176 sts in size L, this means: cast off 6 sts (starting 3 sts before the end of the round), work the next 76-82 sts (the first of them is already on the needle), cast off the next 6 sts and knit the last 76-82 sts (the first of them is already on the needle). Omdat je je vraag bij een video hebt geplaatst kunnen we niet zien hoe het patroon in elkaar zit. Wellicht kun je je vraag plaatsen bij het patroon wat je aan het maken bent, zodat we je wellicht beter kunnen helpen.

Voor de hals moet je ieder keer een steek minderen ,na de kraag .\r\nIs dat samen breien of met een overhaling???
