How to cast off the last stitch

When you cast off your knitting the very last stitch tend to get loose and ugly. In this DROPS video we show a trick to avoid this.

An excellent technique I have never seen before and cannot wait to try. Do you have a similar tip for doing this when using a edge that does not have the “bump” to pick up?

Herzlichen Dank! Ich stricke seit ueber 70 ! Jahren und die letzte Masche beim abketten war immer unschoen. :( Vorhin im Internet gefunden und gleich die jetzige Lismete mit der letzten Masche so beendet wie gelesen. Super ! Danke! Martha
