In this DROPS video we show how you can knit stockinette (stocking) stitch.

Stockinette is the most common technique to create an even surface on the outside of your garment. Work back and forth on the needles as we do in this video, you knit all sts on all rows from right side. On the wrong side rows you purl all stitches. When working in the round on circular needles or sock needles, you knit all sts on every round.

You must read the pattern to be able to follow. You’ll find patterns where you can use this technique by clicking on the pictures below.

Hei Amy. Siden med glattstrikk er "glatt", mens vrangen er litt "ruglete". Om du strikker 1 vrang maske eller en rad meg vrangmasker der det egentlig skulle ha vært rett, vil du få en "maske" eller en "stripe" som stikker ut på glattstrikksiden (rettsiden). Om du ser på denne videoen og tiden 0:50, ser du glattstrikk og så noen sekunder etterpå ser du vrangen. mvh DROPS design

Buongiorno Alessandro. Una volta lavato, il lavoro si assesta e i punti diventano più regolari. Provi anche a lavorare prendendo il filo interno del gomitolo e, se non l'ha già fatto, a lavorare con una misura di ferri in meno. A volte la lavorazione irregolare dipende anche dalla torsione del filo, le capita solo con questo filato? Buon lavoro!
