Crochet tog like this: place two squares on top of each other and work through both layers with off white on hook size 5 mm / H/8 as follows: 1 sc around the 3 ch in the corner on both squares, * ch 3, skip 3 dc, 1 sc around next ch on both squares *, repeat from *-*, and finish with ch 3, skip 3 dc and work 1 sc around the 3 ch in the corner on both squares. Continue like this until 4 squares have been crochet tog. Crochet the last four squares tog the same way. Then place the two strips on top of each other and crochet tog. The outermost squares in each side are also worked tog in bottom edge but only crochet tog until the middle of squares. (A is crochet tog with D – see diagram.) SLEEVE EDGE: Sleeve edge is worked in the round on hook size 5 mm / H/8 with off white.
