32 cm stimmt also.

HEAD BAND: Worked back and forth on needle in garter st, i.e. K all rows. Cast on 28 sts on needle size 2.5 mm / US 1 with Fabel. Work garter st back and forth on needle until piece measures 46 cm / 18" (or desired length), and bind off loosely. Sew tog edge to edge mid back. -------------------------------------------------------- SCARF: GARTER ST (back and forth): K all rows. INCREASING TIP: Inc 1 st by making 1 YO. On next row K YO into back of loop to avoid a hole. -------------------------------------------------------- SCARF: Worked back and forth on needle in garter st, in 2 parts sewn tog mid back afterwards. Cast on 68 sts on needle size 3 mm / US 2or3 with Fabel. Work garter st back and forth on needle until piece measures 18 cm / 7". Continue as follows on next row from RS: * work 1 st, slip next st on a stitch holder *, repeat from *-* to end of row = 34 sts on needle, 34 sts on stitch holder. Continue back and forth in rib, K1/P1, on the 34 sts on needle. After 14 cm / 5½" rib slip these sts on another stitch holder. Slip the 34 sts from the first stitch holder back on needle. Work rib in the same way for 14 cm / 5½" on these sts. On next row from RS K all sts as follows: * 1 st from stitch holder, 1 st from needle *, repeat from *-* to the end of row = 68 sts on needle. K 1 row from WS on all sts, and cast on 1 new st at the end of row = 69 sts. Turn piece in order to view it from the RS. Insert a marker after 1 st (= marker-1) and 1 marker after 52 sts (= marker-2). Marker-1 marks shortened rows towards shoulder and inc for shoulder. Marker-2 marks shortened rows for neck. Now continue with shortened rows as follows: Row 1 (= RS): work all sts, turn piece. Row 2 (= WS): work all sts, AT THE SAME TIME at the end of row inc 1 st – See INCREASING TIP! - after marker (= marker-1 as seen from RS), turn piece. Row 3: work all sts, turn piece. Row 4/5: work 17 sts to marker (marker-2 as seen from RS), turn piece, work return row and turn piece. Row 6: work all sts, turn piece. Row 7/8: work sts to marker-1, turn piece, work return row and turn piece. Repeat row 1-8 until you have inc 23 times = 92 sts. Piece now measures approx 20 cm / 8" from the rib, measured in the middle. Work 4 cm / 1½" on all sts with shortened rows as before (without inc). Now bind off 17 sts at beg of row from WS = 75 sts. Continue on the remaining sts on needle with shortened rows as before (without inc). AT THE SAME TIME dec 1 st at the beg of every row from WS. Continue like this until all sts have been bind off. Cut the thread and pull it through the last st. Work the other part in the same way. BUT when piece measures 18 cm / 7" continue back and forth on all sts in garter st (i.e. no rib). Complete as described for part 1. Sew tog mid back, sew edge to edge in outer loops of sts to avoid a chunky seam. |
