Hoi Eline. Dat klinkt wel erg veel! Wat jammer. Ik heb het doorgestuurd naar ons designteam. Zij registreren deze opmerkingen. Komen er meer opmerkingen binnen wordt het patroon gewijzigd. Gr. Tine

RS: K6 + K3 WS: P3 + K6 you purl the K3 from WS and then they will be in st st, and when you knit the 6 sts from both sides they become garter.

I understand the directions for the RS (6 garter st, 3 st st, rep.). Now I want to make sure I understand what the pattern is for the WS. Do I knit 6 and purl 3? Thanks for any help you can lend.

Hi Josie No, I think it means that you will need to use two balls of yarn at the same time (i.e. double thikness) if you know what I mean.

I'm confused as to why it says 2 threads. Does this mean that before you begin the pattern you need to first divide your wool which is made up of 4 threads? Thanks

Dec as follows before 1 edge st: slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso Decreasing tip-2 (applies to front piece): Make all dec from RS as follows: K1, K3 tog, continue to st with marking thread (MT), make 1 YO, work st with MT, make 1 YO. Now put half the sts = 31-33-37-41-45-47 sts on a thread and complete each side separately. Side 1: Insert a marking thread in the middle of the 31-33-37-41-45-47 sts and work garter sts back and forth on needle, at the same time dec to shape the V-neck as described in Decreasing tip-2 (= 2 dec sts per row), on every other row a total of 11-12-14-16-18-19 times = 9 sts left on row. Continue on these 9 sts for strap until piece measures approx 25-26-27-27-28-29 cm [9¾"-10¼"-10⅝"-10⅝"-11"-11⅜"] from bottom of V-neck. Side 2: Slip sts from thread back on needle and work like Side 1. Assembly: Sew side seams inside 1 edge st. Sew straps from front piece to back piece. |
