So when a pattern is for American English then the stitches are strickly in what I already understand a tr to be (a treble crochet, and not an english one)? I can just follow patter as I would any other written in USA?
03.11.2014 - 13:20DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Rease, if you print the US-English pattern, all crochet sts will be written in US-English - you can always check the termminology here. Happy crocheting!

Ok, jacket is finished..almost and I LOVE it!!! One last question before I finish the border. It says to skip 1/2 to 3/4'' in between the tr, ch2, tr. Im gettin wierd measurments..so im thinking to just tr, skip one stitch and treble in the next? Skipping one stitch seems to be the closest I can get to that measurement. Sound about right? THank you for all your help! I will be making a bunch of these for christmas gifts!
04.10.2014 - 05:46DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Murray, you may adjust the border as you rather like - skip 1/2 to 3/4" or less/more as your rather want to get the edge. Happy crocheting and thank you !

Hi,I love this jacket. I need some help, very confused. I'm starting row 12. Reading ahead I'm using bind off for m/l. Not sure which row 13 to use the one above in the main pattern or the one in the bind off instructions. Please help
04.10.2014 - 02:05Tracy Murray answered:
Marie Jahn, I asked the same question. You are going to do your row 12, then go down to the bind off instructions for that row 13 :-)

Ok I fugured that part out! Now Im REALLY confused! I worked perfectly, always counting stitches and I finished row 16 and I have exactly 215 tr. But then it says to crochet a tr in each tr and a tr in each ch for the row 14 repeat and says I should have 256 tr. I have 301 tr. I dont understand how that is possible if i had 215 on row 16 like I was supposed to? know why i have so many extra triples?
02.10.2014 - 16:24DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Murray, after you have worked row 16, you continue repeating rows 14, 15 and 16 but with increases so that you will continue to inc number of sts at the same time. When you repeat these 3 rows, you will have always more sts than the number stated since this is only for the 1st time you work them. Happy crocheting!

Hello. I am making the XL and I am very stuck on how to START row 15. I have 192 tr on row 14. It says 1 tr, ch 3 11 times in the 34 stitches? How do I do that? If there is 34 stitches, how do I get it down to 11? Do I just try and turn 34 stitches into 11 any way that I can by skipping a certain amount of stitches? Like every 3? Example, 1 tr 3 ch,skip 2, repeat? I dont understand row 15 on the turning 34 chains into 11?? Please help! Thank u so much! :-)
01.10.2014 - 18:49DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Murray, you crochet in the 34 ch-loop (1 tr, 3 ch) a total of 11 times (sts will then find their place in the loop) or you can then skip ch evenly. You will have then a total of 11 times (1tr + 1 3-ch-loop) above each armhole. Happy crocheting!

12 I’m making this jacket and I’ve just finished Round 12 for S/M. I have 49tr instead of 48. I chained 4 at the beginning of the round and joined with a slip stitch in the top of the Ch 4 at the beginning. I’m not sure what I did wrong.
16.09.2014 - 16:54DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Gibert, you should have 48 tr at the end of round 12, make sure you have (1 tr, 3 ch, skip over 2 tr) around with the 26 ch for armholes. Happy crocheting!
