Hej Jette, Du kan strikke den i en tråd DROPS Wish eller DROPS Eskimo, men sørg for at strikke løst så du har 8 masker på 10 cm i bredden :)

Buon lavoro!

Knitted sweater with garter stitch in 2 strands DROPS Melody. Size: S - XXXL
DROPS 215-35 |
|
------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN: ------------------------------------------------------- GARTER STITCH (back and forth): Knit all rows. 1 ridge vertically = knit 2 rows. ------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ------------------------------------------------------- SWEATER - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: Work sweater back and forth in 2 parts that are sewn together when finished. Sleeves are picked up in armhole and worked back and forth on needle, top down. BACK PIECE: Cast on 38-42-44-48-52-56 stitches on circular needle size 12 mm = US 17 with 1 strand pearl grey and 1 strand beige (= 2 strands). Work in GARTER STITCH - see explanation above. When piece measures 31-32-33-34-35-36 cm = 12¼"-12½"-13"-13⅜"-13¾"-14¼", bind off for armholes in each side: Bind off 2-2-2-3-3-3 stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows = 34-38-40-42-46-50 stitches. Continue in garter stitch until piece measures 48-50-52-54-56-58 cm = 19"-19¾"-20½"-21¼"-22"-22¾". Bind off the middle 12-12-12-12-14-14 stitches for neck, and finish each shoulder separately. On next row decrease 1 stitch towards the neck = 10-12-13-14-15-17 stitches remain on each shoulder. Bind off when piece measures 50-52-54-56-58-60 cm = 19¾"-20½"-21¼"-22"-22¾"-23⅝" (= 19-20-21-22-23-24 cm = 7½"-8"-8¼"-8¾"-9"-9½" from bind-off for armholes). FRONT PIECE: Cast on and work as back piece (NOTE! Remember armhole), until piece measures 44-45-46-47-48-49 cm = 17¼"-17¾"-18"-18½"-19"-19¼". Now slip the middle 8-8-8-8-10-10 stitches on 1 stitch holder for neck, and finish each shoulder separately. Then bind off at the beginning of every row towards the neck as follows: 2 stitches 1 time and 1 stitch 1 time = 10-12-13-14-15-17 stitches remain for shoulder. Continue until piece measures 50-52-54-56-58-60 cm = 19¾"-20½"-21¼"-22"22¾"-23⅝", and bind off. Work the other shoulder the same way. ASSEMBLY: Sew one shoulder seam. NECK EDGE: Pick up approx. 35 to 41 stitches with 1 strand of each color (including stitches on stitch holder at the front and divisible by 2 + 1) on circular needle size 12 mm = US 17 around the neck, begin at the top of shoulder in the one side not sewn. Work neck edge back and forth, work first row from wrong side as follows: 1 edge stitch in garter stitch, * purl 1, knit 1 *, repeat from *-* until 2 stitches remain, purl 1 and 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. Continue with rib for 4 cm = 1½", then bind off with knit over knit and purl over purl. ASSEMBLY - 2: Sew neck edge and the last shoulder seam, sew neck edge inside 1 edge stitch in garter stitch. SLEEVE: Work sleeves back and forth, top down. Pick up 30-32-34-36-36-38 stitches around the sleeve opening in outer loop of edge stitch on circular needle size 12 mm = US 17 with 1 strand of each color, i.e. start in the middle of the 4-4-4-6-6-6 stitches that where bind off when dividing for front pieces and back piece, pick up 15-16-17-18-18-19 stitches up to shoulder seam, and pick up 15-16-17-18-18-19 stitches from shoulder seam and down to the middle of the 4-4-4-6-6-6 stitches that where bind off when dividing for front pieces and back piece. Work in garter stitch back and forth. When piece measures 3 cm = 1⅛", decrease 1 stitch in each side of piece. Decrease every 10-8-8-6½-7-6 cm = 4"-3⅛"-3⅛"-2½"-2¾"-2⅜" 5-6-6-7-6-7 times in total = 20-20-22-22-24-24 stitches. Continue with garter stitch until piece measures 52-50-50-50-48-47 cm = 20½"-19¾"-19¾"-19¾"-19"-18½" (shorter sleeve in the larger sizes because of wider shoulders), bind off. Work the other sleeve the same way. ASSEMBLY - 3: Sew under arm seams and side seams in one. Sew in outer loops of edge stitches to avoid a chunky seam. |
