HI!

Hi! I was trying to find a video or written pattern for these. I don't know how to read diagrams very well?
04.08.2014 - 01:22DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Key, in the diagram 1 st is represented by 1 symbol - see tab "videos" to learn more about the sts , work in the round following A.1 (beg of round) and then repeat A.2 around. Happy crocheting!

Thank you, Liz

Dear Mrs Key, each symbol in the diagram represent a stitch or a group of st, work in the round as shown in diagram, and follow instructions from written pattern (beg of round, joining tog.) Happy crocheting!

Takk for svar! DROPS 152-26/Modell nr an-020
24.06.2014 - 22:14DROPS Design answered:
Hej Tone.

I bought a sweater pattern and it requires DROP Andes yarn and I can't buy/find it in my country (South Africa). Please tell me, is there trustworthy, safe online retailers I can order it from and who will ship to South Africa? Or else, what alternative yarn can I use??

Dear Mrs Fitzgerald, you are welcome to contact one of the stores from the list those shipping worldwide. Happy knitting!

CROCHET INFO: Replace first sc at beg of every sc round with 1 ch. Replace first tr at beg of every tr round with 4 ch. PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 and A.2. ---------------------------------------------------------- SMALL SEATING PAD: Work 4 ch with 2 strands Andes on hook size 9 mm / M/13 and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: Work 10 sc in ch-ring. ROUND 2: Work 2 tr in every sc = 20 tr – READ CROCHET INFO! Then continue pattern according to diagram A.1. REMEMBER THE CROCHET GAUGE! Repeat repetition the entire round (= 10 repetitions in total). When A.1 has been worked 1 time vertically, the seating pad is done. Piece measures approx. 38 cm / 15" in diameter. Fasten off. LARGE SEATING PAD: Work 5 ch with 2 strands Andes on hook size 9 mm / M/13 and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch. ROUND 1: Work 12 sc in ch-ring. ROUND 2: Work 2 tr in every sc = 24 tr – READ CROCHET INFO! Then continue pattern according to diagram A.2. REMEMBER THE CROCHET GAUGE! Repeat repetition the entire round (= 6 repetitions in total). When A.2 has been worked 1 time vertically, the seating pad is done. Piece measures approx. 51 cm / 20" in diameter. Fasten off. FELTING: The piece can be felted either in the washing machine or the tumble dryer – read description below. Remember: Subsequent washes are as for a normal wool garment. IN WASHING MACHINE: Washing machines will vary when felting. If the piece is not felted enough, it can be felted again. If it is felted too much, it can be stretched to the correct size while still wet. DO THE FOLLOWING: Lay the piece in the washing machine, using a programme of approx. 40 minutes (not a wool programme). Wash at 40 degrees C = 104 degrees F without pre-wash, detergent is optional. After washing, shape the piece while it is still wet. IN TUMBLE DRYER: Felting in a tumble dryer gives good control over the degree of felting. The tumble dryer can be opened during drying to check the size of the piece. If it is not felted enough it can be thoroughly wetted and felted again. If it is felted too much it can be stretched to the correct size while still wet. DO THE FOLLOWING: Lay the piece in water so it becomes completely wet, then place it in the tumble dryer and begin the drying process. Dry to the desired size, checking regularly. |
