How to crochet an African Flower Hexagon
In this DROPS video we show you how to crochet a hexagon african flower.
Work 5 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch – wih COLOR 1.
ROUND 1: Work 3 ch (replace 1st tr), 1 tr in ch-ring, * 1 ch, 2 tr in ch-ring *, repeat from *-* 4 times more. Finish with 1 ch and 1 sl st in 3rd ch in beg of round. Cut thread.
ROUND 2: Change to COLOR 2 and work 1 sl st in first ch-space, 3 ch (replace 1st tr), 1 tr, 1 ch, 2 tr in same ch-space. Work as follows in next ch-space: * 2 tr, 1 ch, 2 tr *, repeat from *-* whole round and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch in beg of round.
ROUND 3: Work 1 sl st in ch-space. 3 ch (replace 1st tr), 6 tr in the same ch-space. Work * 7 tr in next ch-space *, repeat *-* whole round and finish with 1sl st with COLOR 3 in 3rd in beg of round. Cut thread.
ROUND 4: Work 1 ch, 1 dc in each of the next 6 tr, 1 tr around the tr from ROUND 2 (loose tr), * 1 dc in each of the next 7 tr, 1 tr around the tr from ROUND 2 *, repeat *-* whole round and finish with sl st in ch in beg of the round with COLOR 4.
ROUND 5: Work 3 ch (replaces1st tr), 1 tr in each of the next 4 dc, 1 ch, 1 tr in the same dc, 1 tr in each of the next 4 dc, * 4 tr, 1 ch, 1 tr in the same dc, 1 tr in each of the next 4 dc *, repeat 4 more times. Work 1 tr in each of the next 4 dc, 1 ch, 1 tr in same dc, 1 tr in each of the next 3 dc and finish with st sl in 3rd ch in the beg of round. Cut thread.
