How to work an I-Cord edging

In this DROPS video we show how we work an I-Cord edging in a piece in garter stitch, an I-Cord is a knitted tube. We have chosen to have 3 edge stitches on each side that will form the I-Cord edge. On each row, lift the 3 first stitches over to the right needle as if they should have been purl and purl the 3 last stitches on each row. Work like this: * Lift 3 stitches to the right needle as if they should have been purl, tighten the thread a little, knit the row until 3 stitches remain, purl these stitches, turn piece * repeat from * - *. You have to work a few cm and pull a little in the edge before you see the best result. We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video.

Bonjour Glykeria, tout à fait, vous pouvez tricoter le I-cord sur 4 mailles et vous tricoterez ces 4 mailles de la même façon au début/à la find es rangs. Bon tricot!

Bonjour Mme Desbiens, vous pouvez procéder exactement de la même façon, en revanche, les mailles entre seront à tricoter en jersey et pas au point mousse comme dans la vidéo. Bon tricot!

Bonjour Mme Verry, je ne comprends probablement pas votre question, pour tricoter la bordure I-cord du devant gauche de ce modèle, procédez simplement comme les explications l'indiquent sous I-CORD, BORDURE DEVANT GAUCHE (bordure le long du devant):; j'ai réalisé cette veste à titre perso en suivant ces explications et avec succès. Quelle partie de l'explication vous parait difficile? Je peux tenter de reformuler autrement si besoin, tenez-nous au courant.

Bonjour Vivianne, cette vidéo montre justement comment faire la bordure de chaque côté d'un ouvrage = en début de rang mais aussi en fin de rang sur l'endroit (= en début et fin de rang sur l'envers). Bon tricot!
