In this DROPS video we show how to start a sock with a flounce, like the “Dainty Duo” socks in DROPS 229-19. We cast on with 2 strands, but continue with 1 strand. Then we knit 4 rounds and on the next round we knit all stitches together 2 by 2. Then we work a rib (knit 1 twisted/purl 1). These socks are worked in DROPS Fabel, but in the video, we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. You must read a pattern with this technique to be able to follow this video properly.
