How to work an I-Cord edging

Tags: cord, edge,

In this DROPS video we show how we work an I-Cord edging in a piece in garter stitch, an I-Cord is a knitted tube. We have chosen to have 3 edge stitches on each side that will form the I-Cord edge. On each row, lift the 3 first stitches over to the right needle as if they should have been purl and purl the 3 last stitches on each row.

Work like this:
* Lift 3 stitches to the right needle as if they should have been purl, tighten the thread a little, knit the row until 3 stitches remain, purl these stitches, turn piece * repeat from * - *.

You have to work a few cm and pull a little in the edge before you see the best result.
We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video.
