Ik brei liever met pennen. Kan dit patroon in breinaalden worden gewijzigd?
24.11.2024 - 15:38DROPS Design answered:
Dag Yvonne,

Bon tricot!

Knitted jumper with stripes in DROPS Alpaca Bouclé. Piece is knitted top down with raglan. Size: S - XXXL
DROPS 199-40 |
|
---------------------------------------------------------- EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN: ---------------------------------------------------------- GARTER STITCH (worked in the round): 1 ridge vertically = 2 rounds. Knit 1 round and purl 1 round. INCREASE TIP-1 (evenly): To calculate how to increase evenly, use the total number of stitches on round (e.g. 84 stitches) and divide stitches by number of increases to be done (e.g. 4) = 21. In this example increase by making 1 yarn over after every 21st stitch. On next round work yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. INCREASE TIP-2 (applies to sides of body): Work until 2 stitches remain before marker thread, 1 yarn over, knit 4 (marker thread is in the middle of these stitches), 1 yarn over. On next round knit yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. Then work the new stitches in stocking stitch. STRIPES: Work 2 cm with off white in all sizes, work 4-4-4-5-5-5 cm with light sea green, work 4-4-4-5-5-5 cm off white and work 4-4-4-5-5-5 cm with light sea green. Then work the rest of piece in off white in all sizes. RAGLAN: Increase 1 stitch in each side of 1 stitch in every transition between body and sleeves (= 8 stitches increased on round). Increase 1 stitch by making 1 yarn over. On next round knit yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. Then work the new stitches in stocking stitch. DECREASE TIP (applies to sleeves): Decrease 1 stitch on each side of marker thread as follows: Work until 3 stitches remain before marker thread, slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over stitch worked, knit 2 (marker thread is in the middle of these stitches), knit the next 2 stitches together (= 2 stitches decreased). ---------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ---------------------------------------------------------- JUMPER - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: Worked in the round on circular needle from mid front, top down. Work sleeves in the round on double pointed needles. YOKE: Cast on 84-92-100-104-104-108 stitches on circular needle size 4.5 mm with off white. Work 3 ridges in GARTER STITCH - read explanation above. Switch to circular needle size 5 mm, knit 1 round while increasing 4 stitches evenly - read INCREASE TIP-1. = 88-96-104-108-108-112 stitches. Knit 1 round - AT THE SAME TIME insert 4 marker threads in the piece as follows: Insert 1st marker thread in 1st stitch on round, insert 2nd marker thread in 12th-14th-14th-14th-12th-12th stitch on round, insert 3rd marker thread in 45th-49th-53rd-55th-55th-57th stitch on round and insert 4th marker thread in 56th-62nd-66th-68th-66th-68th stitch on round. There are now 32-34-38-40-42-44 stitches between stitches with marker thread on front piece/back piece and 10-12-12-12-10-10 stitches on each sleeve. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION! Work next round as follows: Work 1 stitch in stocking stitch (= 1st marker thread), increase 1 stitch for RAGLAN – see explanation above, work stocking stitch over 10-12-12-12-10-10 stitches on sleeve, increase 1 stitch on each side of 2nd marker thread, work stocking stitch over the 32-34-38-40-42-44 stitches on front piece, increase 1 stitch on each side of 3rd marker thread, work stocking stitch over 10-12-12-12-10-10 stitches on sleeve, increase 1 stitch on each side of 4th marker thread and work stocking stitch over the last 32-34-38-40-42-44 stitches on back piece and increase 1 stitch before 1st marker thread. Then work STRIPES – read explanation above – and stocking stitch, and increase for raglan at every marker every other round as follows: Increase 1 stitch on each side of stitch with marker on every other round 19-20-21-24-27-30 times in total (first increase is already done). Then increase 1 more time but only on sleeves as follows: Increase 1 stitch after 1st marker and 1 stitch before 2nd marker, increase 1 stitch after 3rd marker and 1 stitch before 4th marker. The increase has been done 20-21-22-25-28-31 times on sleeves. There are 244-260-276-304-328-356 stitches on round and piece measures approx. 20-21-22-25-27-30 cm from cast-on edge (measured mid front). Work next round: Work first stitch on round (= stitch with 1st marker thread), slip the next 50-54-56-62-66-72 stitches on 1 stitch holder for sleeve (= stitches between 1st and 2nd marker thread), cast on 6-6-8-8-10-12 new stitches on round (= in the side under sleeve), work the next 72-76-82-90-98-106 stitches as before (= front piece), slip the next 50-54-56-62-66-72 stitches on 1 stitch holder for sleeve (= stitches between 3rd and 4th marker thread), cast on 6-6-8-8-10-12 new stitches on round (= in the side under sleeve) and work the rest of round. Finish body and sleeves separately. Remove the marker threads in piece. NOW MEASURE PIECE FROM HERE! BODY: = 156-164-180-196-216-236. Insert 1 marker thread in the middle of the 6-6-8-8-10-12 stitches cast on under each sleeve and move the marker threads upwards when working. Continue in the round in stocking stitch. When piece measures 2 cm from division, increase 2 stitches in each side - read INCREASE TIP-2 (= 4 stitches increased). Increase like this every 3½ cm 7 times in total in all sizes = 184-192-208-224-244-264 stitches. When piece measures 30-31-32-29-31-30 cm from division, switch to circular needle size 4.5 mm. Work 3 ridges, switch back to circular needle size 5 mm and cast off by knitting from right side. Jumper measures approx. 52-54-56-58-60-62 cm from shoulder and down. SLEEVE: Slip the 50-54-56-62-66-72 stitches from stitch holder in one side of piece on double pointed needles size 5 mm and pick in addition up 1 new stitch in each of the 6-6-8-8-10-12 stitches cast on under sleeve = 56-60-64-70-76-84 stitches on round. Work in stocking stitch in the round. Insert a marker in the middle stitch under sleeve. When piece measures 2 cm in all sizes, decrease 1 stitch on each side of marker - read DECREASE TIP. Decrease like this every 8th-7th-6th-5th-4th-3rd round 7-8-9-11-12-13 times in total = 42-44-46-48-52-58 stitches on round. Work until piece measures 29-29-28-26-24-22 cm from division (shorter measurements in the larger sizes because of longer yoke). Switch to double pointed needles size 4.5 mm and work 3 ridges. Switch back to double pointed needles size 5 mm and cast off by knitting. Work the other sleeve the same way. |
