How to knit garter stitch in the round on double pointed needles

In this DROPS video we show how you can knit garter stitch in the round on double pointed needles.

Knit as follows: 1st round: P, 2nd round: K, repeat 1st and 2nd round.

Liebe Christiane, den Faden am Ende der Reihe können Sie etwas fest ziehen, damit die letzte linke Masche an der gleichen Höhe wie die erste linke Masche der Runde liegt. Viel Spaß beim stricken!

Bonjour Mme Soleil, on tricote les manches sur aiguilles doubles pointes en raison du petit nombre de mailles - vous pouvez également les tricoter avec une longue aiguille circulaire avec la technique dite du magic loop. Bon tricot!

Bonjour Mme Dignocourt, effectivement, pour tricoter du point mousse en allers-retours (en "rangs"), on tricote tous les rangs à l'endroit. Dans cette vidéo, nous montrons comment tricoter du point mousse en rond, et dans ce cas, on alterne 1 tour à l'end, 1 tour à l'env pour créer chaque côte mousse (l'équivalent de 2 rangs end). En tricotant tous les tours à l'end quand on tricote en rond, on obtient du jersey. Bon tricot!
