In this DROPS video we show how you can weave in tails in stocking stitch.

Always weave in your tails on the wrong side of your knitted stocking st piece. With the needle and yarn follow the stitches sideways over 2 rows. Halfway through video we show you the same thing with a contrasting yarn to make it easier to follow.

As you can see with this method your weaved in tail will not show on your right side.

Bonjour Nicole, vous pouvez simplement tricoter les 2 extrémités (la fin de pelote + le début de la nouvelle) sur quelques mailles, ou bien faire un noeud, essayer un double noeud ou bien encore le joint russe ou toute autre méthode de votre choix. Cette vidéo montre comment rentrer les fils quand on tricote au point mousse. Bon tricot!

Hei Jorun. Når du har festet trådenden på baksiden et stykke, klipper du tråden. Som regel vil trådenden holde seg på baksiden, men er du usikker, ta gjerne en sjekk etter en kort tids bruk av et plagg. Garnende i ull vil holde seg mer på plass en f.eks et glatt bomulls - og lin garn. Å feste tråder i disse kvalitetene, ta en titt på video: "Hvordan feste bomullstråder". God Fornøyelse!

Bonjour Coraline, à la fin, coupez le fil près du bord, si vous l'avez bien "tissé" plusieurs fois dans les mailles, il ne se défera pas. Si vous utilisez un fil composé de différents brins, vous pouvez divisez ces brins en 2 groupes par exemple et les tisser tous les 2 de cette façon dans 2 endroits différents pour plus de sécurité. How to weave in cotton tails

In this DROPS video we show how you can weave in tails on your crochet or knitted project. When using a cotton yarn, especially when it's thicker, it can be tricky. The tails will show and also may come out again when washing and wearing. A great trick is to split the strand into multiple thinner strands and then sew these thinner strands away in different directions. This usually comes out invisible and will not come undone. In this DROPS video we show how you can weave in ends on your work. When knitting with multiple colors or when just changing from one to another color, you can weave in the end as you continue with the new color. When you start the new color you want to make sure to twist the loose end around your previous color to avoid a hole, then place the working yarn behind the tail, and pick up the yarn alternating above and under the tail end to weave it in. Weave for about 4-6 sts and then you can cut the remaining tail. This way you don't have to fasten the threads at the end. You must read the pattern to be able to follow.
