Hi, I’m doing size 2. So I cast off the 5 stitches of the band. Does this mean the band ends at the neck edge? I can’t decrease at the edge of the band and keep the band going? It says to decrease every second row inside the 2 edge stitches worked in garter stitch. This is confusing. I am an experienced knitter but maybe it’s the translation 🤷♀️
27.06.2018 - 16:26DROPS Design answered:
Hello, After you cast off the 2 stitches, you keep on decreasing as the cardigan has a V neckline (Thus, the first 2 casted on stitches, and then, the decreases). The decreases are done after or before the 2 edge stitches to make a prettier edge. Happy Knitting!

Hi again, I’m having problems with pattern 65-21. Where it devideds for left & right front, I don’t understand ‘decrease for armholes every 2nd row: 4 stitches x 0-0-1-1, 3 stitches x 2-2-3-3’ etc. What does this mean & then cast off the 5 edge stitches for the band & decrease every 2nd row inside neck edge? Please can you explain. I’m eager to continue my knitting. Many thanks Maxine
26.06.2018 - 17:44DROPS Design answered:
Hi Maxine, You don't say which size you are working but the number of times you cast off 4 stitches is given as 0-0-1-1 etc. So you cast off stitches on the armhole side of the piece. The band stitches are cast off as a start to the neckline, which will then be continued in subsequent rows. I hope this helps and happy knitting!

Hi again, please, please can you send me line by line instructions for the graph pattern. This is the third time I’ve undone my knitting. It’s getting very frustrated. I’m eager to continue with this pattern. Regards Maxine

Dear Maxine, on row 1 (= RS): K all sts - row 2 and all even numbered rows: K from RS when working in the round, P from WS when working back and forth. See row 3 below in previous answer. 1 repeat = from (to). Row 5: (K1, YO, K1, slip 1 as if to K, K3, K2 tog, K1, YO). Row 7: (K1, YO, K2, slip 1 as if to K, K1, psso, K1, K2 tog, K2, YO). Row 9: (K2, YO, K2, slip 1 as if to K, K2 tog, psso, K2, YO, K1). Row 11: (K3, YO, K1, slip 1 as if to K, K2 tog, psso, K1, YO, K2). Row 13: (K4, YO, slip 1 as if to K, K2 tog, psso, YO, K3). Happy knitting!

Hi, I’m having trouble understanding the graph. Twice I have undone my knitting 😤 Is it possible for you to send me the pattern line by line. Many thanks Maxine
07.06.2018 - 13:00DROPS Design answered:
Dear Maxine, there is only a diagram to this pattern, start reading diagram on the bottom corner on the right side and read RS rows from the right towards the left and WS rows from the left towards the right. On row 3 for example you will work: (K1, YO, slip 1 as if to K, K1, psso, K5, K2 tog, YO) = 10 sts. Inserting a marker between each repeat can help. For any further assistance reading diagram you are welcome to contact the store where you bought your yarn, even per mail, telephone or via social medias. Happy knitting!

Thank you very much for fixing that. I tried to access the diagram using different languages but just became more confused. I am probably not the only one who had difficulty with that - and not just because I am so far away. Now I can get started, I really appreciate your help.

Yesterday I left a question regarding the diagram not being able to be accessed - only a cross where the diagram should be. Today there is nothing at all! If it is not possible to correct this on the pattern could you possibly send me an email of the diagram? I am in Australia so time zones are somewhat different.
08.02.2018 - 23:54DROPS Design answered:
Dear Lorraine B, whole pattern as well as diagram should be visible. Happy knitting!
