How to crochet a border

In this DROPS video we show an example of how you can crochet a border around the edge of a piece.
Crochet as follows: 1 dc in first st * ch 2, skip 2 sts in width/ 4 rows in height, 1 dc in next st *, repeat from *-*. Chain more or less sts, and skip more or less, depending on the border you want and what the pattern might call for.
You must read the pattern to be able to follow. You’ll find patterns where you can use this technique by clicking on the pictures below.
