Hello, I’ve started this lovely shawl. However, I cast on 145 stitches instead of 165. Because I wanted it smaller. Can you advise that altering the number of stitches will change the way the shawl will turn out. I’m hoping not! I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you Anna
15.12.2020 - 03:48DROPS Design answered:
Hi Anna, You will need to adjust the number of rows and decreases by an equivalent amount for the shape of the shawl to remain the same. 145 stitches is 87% of 165 stitches, so you will need the same percentage decrease in rows worked and decreases made. A little complicated, but doable! Happy knitting!

Buon lavoro!
