Om uit te rekenen hoe vaak je moet minderen deel je het totaal aantal steken door het aantal te maken minderingen. Dan kom je in dit geval uit oop 2,35. Je mindert dus om de 2 a 3 steken. Dus afwisselend de 1e en 2e steek en 3e en 4e steek samenbreien.

HAT AND NECK WARMER: LACE PATTERN: Round 1: * 1 YO, K2 tog, K1 *, repeat from *-*. Round 2: K all sts. Repeat Round 1 and 2. -------------------------------------------------------- HAT: Worked in the round. Cast on 104-116 sts on circular needle size 4 mm / US 6 with 1 strand Alpaca and 1 strand Kid-Silk (= 2 strands). Work rib K2/P2 on all sts until piece measures 3 cm / 1⅛". K 1 round, AT THE SAME TIME dec 38-41 sts evenly (dec by working approx every 2nd and 3rd st tog) = 66-75 sts. Change to circular needle size 4.5 mm / US 7. Continue in LACE PATTERN – see above! REMEMBER THE GAUGE! Change to double pointed needles when sts no longer fit circular needle! When piece measures 20-22 cm / 8"-8¾" (adjust so that next round is first round in lace pattern) work next round as follows (instead of first round in lace pattern): *K2 tog, K1 *, repeat from *-* to end = 44-50 sts. P 1 round. On next round K2 tog across the round = 22-25 sts. P 1 round. K2 tog across the round and finish with K1 for size L/XL = 11-13 sts. P 1 round. Cut the thread, pull it through remaining sts, tighten and fasten. Hat measures approx 22-24 cm / 8¾"-9½" in the height. -------------------------------------------------------- NECK WARMER: Worked in the round. Cast on 204- 240 sts with 1 strand Alpaca and 1 strand Kid-Silk (= 2 strands) on circular needle size 4 mm / US 6. Continue in rib K2/P2 on all sts. When piece measures 5 cm / 2" K 1 round, AT THE SAME TIME dec 84-102 sts evenly (dec by K2 tog) = 120-138 sts. Change to circular needle size 4.5 mm / US 7. Continue in LACE PATTERN – see above. REMEMBER THE GAUGE! When piece measures 30-33 cm / 11¾"-13" (adjust to first round in lace pattern) change back to circular needle size 4 mm / US 6. On next round K all sts, AT THE SAME TIME inc 0-2 sts evenly = 120-140 sts. Continue in rib K2/P2 on all sts. When rib measures 3 cm / 1⅛" bind off LOOSELY with K over K and P over P. Piece measures approx 33-36 cm / 13"-14¼". |
