I am attempting to crochet the xxl size which calls for 800g total for the main color. I purchased yarn that is 113g per skein. It is labeled as 6/super bulky for a total of 904g. I think the required amount is incorrect because I am starting on my third skein and I am not even half way done with the back!

Dear Kerry, this pattern has been written for DROPS Highlander and materials is also given in DROPS Cloud. Remember to check your tension and total meterage required when using an alternative. You will get further personnal assistance from the store where you bought your yarn. Happy crocheting!

I am having trouble with this part of the pattern; "When piece measures 15 cm [6’’] dec 1 sc – see Decreasing tip - 1 on each side of every 15th -16th -17th -18th -19th -20th cm [6”-6 ¼”-6 ¾”-7”-7½”-8”] times in total = 38-42-46-50-56-60 sc." This part makes no sence to me, I just feel like something is missing from this part of the instructions. Please Help! Thank you

Hello, I am crocheting this pattern and love it. Until now, it was very easy to understand. I am almost done with my first sleeve and getting problems now. if you say "Continuing, cast off 2 dc on each side until piece measures 55-56-56-57-57-58 cm. Now cast off 3 dc 1 time on each side." does it mean, I have to bind of 2dc's each row until I reach 55cm or bind off 2dc's just once? how many stitches do I have at the end? Many thanks
18.10.2015 - 19:34DROPS Design answered:
Dear Eve, you cast off 2 sts on each side until sleeve measures 55 cm (1st size), then cast off 3 sts on each side. The number of remaining sts will depend on your tension in height (number of rows). Happy crocheting!
