Hi, I'm making the cute hat but I don't understand M2 and M3. Does M2 mean I knit 1, Make 1, knit 1 make 1 and M3 mean the same but three times, giving a total of 4 (M2) or 6 consecutive stitches (M3) as appropriate. I saw an earlier question on the subject but I'm not sure it made sense at all to me. Please can you help? Thanks.

Dear Mrs Eastman, M.2 and M.3 are the diagrams to work on hat, you'll find them at the very bottom of the pattern - read more about diagrams here. Happy knitting!

Hello. I need your help in understand the diagram this patter offers. I started knitting the hat. I'm starting using the M.2 and M.3 part of the pattern. Are M.2 and M.3 done over 8 rows (M.2) and over 12 rows (M.3)? Appreciate your help.
04.05.2016 - 16:38DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs O'Meara, yes correct, M.2 is worked over 8 rows, ie when diagram has been worked 1 time in height start again from row 1 (there will be 7 rows between cables). M.3 and M.3 are worked over 12 rows, when diagrams have been worked 1 time in height, start again from row 1. Happy knitting!

On a donc 228-138=90 m. Bon tricot!

14.03.2016 - 21:43DROPS Design answered:
Hej Jayne. Ja, det kan du godt. Men snoninger traekker mere sammen en almindelig glat, saa jeg ville eventuelt strikke 2-3 masker mindre per "snoning" i glat for at faa samme maal.

If I understand the decrease correctly I am decreasing 6 stitches every other round. When I get down to 90 stitches, I only have 2-1/2 large turns, but the picture shows that I should have 3-1/2 and I do not have the correct length. /what am I doing wrong?
08.08.2015 - 00:25DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Riemer, you dec 6 sts per dec round a total of 23 times in 2nd size, ie a total of 46 rounds, which is approx. a bit less than 4 times M.1 (12 rows) in height. Happy knitting!

Bon tricot!
