When you decrease in purled stitches, you purl 2 sts together into 1 stitch. In this video we first show how to do this the continental style, and then US style.

Hei Birgit. Hvilken oppskrift er det? Om det er 11 masker der det skal strikkes 2 og 2 vrang sammen, kan du se hva det står hva maskeantallet skal være til slutt. Skal det være 5 masker igjen, strikker du de siste 3 maskene sammen. Skal det være 6 masker igjen, strikker du 2 og 2 sammen, men siste maske strikkes alene. mvh DROPS Design

Je hebt je vraag geplaatst bij een filmpje over hoe je moet minderen en ik weet niet precies welk patroon je maakt, maar we hebben een uitleg op de site waarin de belangrijkste varianten van de patentsteek is beschreven, deze vind je hier. Bij iedere steek staan ook linkjes naar video's.

In this DROPS video we show how to knit 2 stitches together (aka K2tog). This is probably the easiest way to decrease 1 stitch: knit 2 stitches together as one. In the video we first knit 2 stitches together in the front loops, the dec leans right. Then we knit 2 stitches twisted together, i.e. we knit them together in the back loops and the dec leans to the left. You must read the pattern to be able to follow. In this DROPS video we show a pair of mittens before and after felting. To prevent the thumb from felting together, turn the mitten to WS (wrong side) and place a narrow silk ribbon along the thumb. Secure the ribbon with a safety pin – NB: insert the pin vertically towards the tip of the thumb so it is easy to remove after felting. Turn the mitten back to RS (right side) before felting. 1. Place the mittens in the washing machine with a wool detergent that does not contain enzymes or optical brighteners. 2. Wash at 40 °C / 104 °F, normal spin, no pre-wash. 3. Stretch and shape the mittens to the correct measurements while still wet. 4. If they turn out too small: soak in water until completely wet, then stretch back to the desired size. 5. Afterwards, the mittens can be washed as any other wool garment.
