In this DROPS video we show how to work a Pepita pattern with 2 garter stitches on each side. The pattern in this video is worked over 5 stitches, we work 20 stitches + 2 garter stitches (= knit on each row) in each side (= 24 stitches). You can also work this pattern over fewer / more stitches and after chart/charts, as it is done for example in the jacket in DROPS 206-21. In the video we show 4 rows with light gray and then 2 rows with gray. ROW 1: Work 2 garter stitches, * Knit 2, slip the stitch as if to purl, make sure the strand you are using is on the wrong side (away from you seen from the right side), knit 2 *, repeat * - * the entire row and finish with 2 garter stitches. ROW 2: Work 2 garter stitches, * Knit 2, slip the stitch as if to purl, make sure the strand you are using is on the wrong side (towards you seen from the wrong side), knit 2 *, repeat the * - * row out and finish with 2 garter stitches. ROW 3: Repeat 1st row. ROW 4: Repeat 2nd row. Change color and repeat ROW 1 – ROW 4, but now the pattern is shifted, so that 1 stitch is worked more before lifting over 1 stitch. We use the yarn DROPS Snow, but the little sample in black/ white is worked in DROPS Big Merino. Wenn ich das Muster in Runden und glatt rechts stricken möchte, dann einfach die Randmaschen weglassen und alle Runden rechts stricken, und den Faden beim Abheben immer hinten lassen? Jede Reihe des Diagramms dann von rechts nach links lesen, so wie es bei Rundstricken üblich ist?

Liebe Frau Fuchs, wenn Sie dieses Muster in Runden stricken, dann stricken Sie die Rückreihen links (= kraus rechts in Runden wird abwechslungsweise mit 1 Rd re/1 Rd li gestrickt) - die Maschen werden immer wie links abgehoben und der Faden immer auf der Innenseite (=Rückseite der Arbeit) - am besten immer zuerst eine kleine Maschenprobe stricken. Viel Spaß beim stricken!
